Great work if you can get it.

It's not much (per se, I mean), but it's honest.

Will it blend?

If it doesn't, we can pull out the high speed centrifuge. Somebody around here has to have stuff like that, right?

I remember sitting around the big table in the medical library sorting the donated magazines with everybody while Debbie did her best rendition of the Playmate of the Month's comments about herself. That was a very relaxed workplace.

I miss that job.

Only the POLYTRON can reduce an entire mouse into a soup-like homogenate in twelve seconds!

That should only apply if you can produce a receipt.  If you can't prove where the money went, no deduction.  You could just pocket the money and claim you paid a ransome.

Chrome, on one of the Windows 10 machines I'm 'lucky' enough to use, has started lying about what tab is on top.  It usually doesn't matter much.  Usually.

I'm mad at my Linux machines right now, too.  Libre Office had a font update that bricked all Office apps.  Uninstalling something in Linux is sometimes like trying to remove tar from a jar of honey.  I miss the old days where the OS had some common-use files, but the executable was just a single file that you could run from anywhere.

I know, there are theoretically advantages to modern whatever-the-hell-is-going-on, but we're back to that problem of computers being hundreds of times faster and applications running at about the same speed as always, mostly with no apparent increase in function.

Anyway, I temporarily switched to Abiword, which promptly ate an eight-page training document.  So I'm mad at everything right now.
