IED Self Destructs, Wounding Insurgents.

Press video released by U.S. Department of Defense. Footage from Apache helicopter observing insurgents in the act of planting an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Afghanistan. But before the Apaches moves in for the strike, the insurgents' bomb goes off, wounding them in the act.

This documentary video is part of an ongoing effort to preserve and to educate the public about the current war in the Middle East. This footage is not meant to glorify war, and has been edited to exclude sensitive/potentially upsetting material.
