Headline T-shirt Questions
Headline shirts? Wha?
Fark.com is now offering t-shirts with every day's headlines printed on them.
How does this work?
Magic!
No, really, how does this work?
We use something that the mystics refer to as the Flex process. You can learn more about it here.
Why are some headlines able to be made into shirts while others are not?
Due to the type of magic we use to produce the shirts, the headlines that can go on a shirt have to meet certain conditions:
- 140-150 characters or less in length (depending on the width of the total text block),
- A single word can't be longer than what can fit on one line on a shirt.
- Must contain supported characters (for instance, the musical note characters aren't supported... yet)
- Photoshop, Farktograpy, Caption, Video, Audio, Boobies, Weeners, Video and Plug tagged headlines are ineligible for shirting.
- Ad/Plug, Adult Content, and Fark Party links are also ineligible for shirting.
What's the difference between men's and women's?
Well, boys have a pen... Oh. The shirts.
Men's shirts are standard t-shirt sizes - the shirts you're used to buying at concerts and Hot Topic.
Women's shirts are cut smaller than Men's shirts - but they're not made to be slim-fit. With plenty of extra room this shirt is ideal for all body types. Note: THIS PRODUCT RUNS BIG SO PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE PRODUCT SIZING CHART AS WELL AS CONSIDERING ORDERING A SIZE DOWN. ALL CAPS MEANS IT'S IMPORTANT.
How do the sizes run?
Men's and Women's shirt sizes are based on the American standard sizing system. To break down how they measure up, consult this handy chart:
