WTF? People, this is NEW YORK CITY. There are a ton of places that you can get reasonably priced good beer, be rowdy and have appetizers. For "drinking nights" with my buds, I'm fond of "Brass Monkey": www.brassmonkeynyc.com
Just an idea for next time. There are also a few great spots by City Hall downtown, but I forgot the name. Shoot me a message if you want me to hunt it down and give it to you.

My mistake, and please don't get me wrong, I'm no wild and crazy lush looking to go nuts. I just don't generally associate places described like above as a great spot to socialize with people I've never met before. Have at it.

I have to say, I just don't get all the hate. I've lived here for 6 years now, and I'm not going to say the place is perfect; I get tired of the noise and crowds sometimes. I'm just amazed at the intensity of some of the hate that's spewed, the number of people doing the spewing, and the tenuous grasp of reality that you all seem to have. Whatever, I'll continue to be happy here and leave the furious people to their furiousing.

I'd like to make it tomorrow; I'll be the new face if I can get out early enough from work.

Fair enough, and I am a beer snob as well, but it isn't really a Fark "party", is it? It's more like a Fark "beer tasting". Not that there's anything wrong with that. Except that it's on a Tuesday.

Sunday the sign in the bar, and the bartender said they won't open until 6pm. And I am not sure they will be having the "Happy Hour $1 off" because it is an official event that they are having and LineNoise and I thought we would post.

They will be purposefully changing unkicked kegs to put on the super-high-octane stuff.

Burp Castle is a cool place and is in my 'hood, so I may stop in...then go down to Mars Bar for $6 triple shots.

$10 a beer sounds like a party for 'foofweights'.
I'll be performing an unplugged set at Corio on the NE corner of W.B'way & Grand at 11p. No cover, crazy cheap drink specials for everone and; oh yea, smoke em if ya got em!
BTW: it's our singers birthday and we'd love to see him stumble home! :)
