I approve of thongs. I do not approve boobies links with no boobies.

That is certainly not safe for work... well, not my office anyway.

I thought I was clicking a link to look at girls in thongs, not clicking a link to a crappy IE plugin so I can "play games online" and let someone monitor my surfing habits and pop up ads on my system.

Not safe for people who avoid malware.

A bit of advice.
To make looking at boobies links more
work-safe, go to the mens' room before fapping.

I might be movin' to Montana soon
Just to raise me up a crop of Dental Floss Raisin' it up
Waxen it down
In a little white box
I can sell uptown
By myself I wouldn't
Have no boss,
But I'd be raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Well I just might grow me some bees
But I'd leave the sweet stuff
For somebody else...
but then, on the other hand
I'd Keep the wax N' melt it down
Pluck some Floss N' swish it aroun'
I'd have me a crop
An' it'd be on top...

Not safe for people who avoid malware.

Didn't see anything of the sort.

If you're running IE (even with some addon), quit biatching. Move to a browser that's safe.

Now what about giving them the Dinah-moe Humm?

Oh to use an Opera browser and not have to worry about such things as spyware. Some might probably favor Mozilla which is just fine and dandy too.

There's nothing wrong with my browser (I use MYIE2). I used to use FireFox but got annoyed with the fact that it wouldn't work with windows update. What I'm really biatching about is sites that insult my intelligence by asking me to "install a game plugin" that is really going to just pop up ads on my computer. They're just preying on the less experienced and uninformed users. Don't blame the browser as being crappy, blame the people that take advantage of it's power and adaptability to take advantage of people.

/rant over...bring the boobies

If you're trying to show your posterior off, just bare the damn thing. If you're trying to floss something, let it be your teeth.

I like Bullz Eye, sometimes a non nude shot done well can be hotter than a naked shot.

And the server's holding out well considering it's pretty slow at best of times.

2004-06-12 03:18:15 PM
None of them were wearing thongs.

Well, they might've been, but you couldn't see any of their feet, so it's impossible to tell.

Agreed. I'm also a big fan of smiles versus the bored pseudo-sultry pout.

How about just a nice picture of nothing but ass. I mean, I can't help but think how close the butt floss is to the raisin and other unclean things.
I'd rather just see no covering at all.

Internet Explorer is the most stable and secure browser at this point in time. Also, it is the easiest to use.

Be careful you don't forget to close the sarcasm tag, people might think you're serious if you're not careful.

Semi-Sane said: "Internet Explorer is the most stable and secure browser at this point in time. Also, it is the easiest to use."

It's easiest to use because you're used to it. I got used to using Opera after a couple of days, and now it's easier to use. My crappy-ish Win98 computer might be more to blame for this, but I honestly can't use IE for too long before some unexplainable illegal operation pops up, and I have to say "okay" and watch my desktop and toolbar all go to hell.
Also, no spy-ware and no pop ups for me with Opera.

I'm just saying, on my end and with my experience, your statement on IE is laughable.

Internet Explorer is the most stable and secure browser at this point in time. Also, it is the easiest to use.

I used to think this way before I tried Mozilla Firefox (then Firebird).

Firefox conforms more with internet standards and it comes with extensions that make using any other kind of browser painful (give IE extensions and it'll be so badass). FF crashes more than IE6 but FF is also in version 0.8.

Security is more about the user than the browser IMO. For an experienced user, any browser can be very secure. For the novice and below, IE is not very secure because it is open to Spyware like crazy.

I can't see how any browser is easier to use than the other. You type in where you wanna go, press Enter/Return and you're there. You bookmark a few things if you wanna do that and you close it. I fail to see how anything is complicated with that process.

I used to be an IE advocate. Never wanted to try anything else. Then I tried Firefox and I'm hooked. I even tried regular Mozilla after being so impressed with FF and it's so totally different.

curtins:

I've used Mozilla or Netscape ever since Microsoft bundled IE with the OS. So, since 1996 or so. I've been in the amusing position to sit back and watch the antics of Outlook express email viruses/worms, Internet Explorer crashes through malformed pages, and Internet Explorer hijacks through such basic components as oh, ActiveX, for example, now letting people install applications on peoples' workstations to run arbitrary code, report back to servers, and install new programs.

People claimed for a long time that one had to use IE because "all of the web pages are designed with IE specs in mind", meaning web developers aren't conforming to W3C specifications and are using Microsoft-only extensions (which are designed specifically to stifle competition). I then watched their NT/IIS servers become infected with nurmerous worms, like "Code Red", bringing things to a halt while all of the worm-infected computers hammered networks while they looked for more machines to infect.

I won't say that Linux, Apache, or Mozilla (non-firefox line) are perfect, but not having any problems since abandoning Windows/IIS/IE while watching these antics put a smile on my face and definitely confirmed for me that I made the right choice.

Security is something that the product should have ready when it's shipped, not require some random user to configure, not when software is pretty much commodity now. It needs to just work in order to be right. That's where Microsoft has really failed.
