Such is the state of airpot security. They do their best to make it look like a fortress on the passenger side but you can waltz in somewhere at most every airport.

Well we could stop illegal immigrants from wanting to come here, but to do that we would need to arrest, prosecute, and jail those owners and managers of businesses who hire illegal immigrants in order to not have to pay a legal immigrant or citizen at least minimum wage. Unless we make examples of these businessmen and hold them responsible for their actions in hiring beyond a paltry fine, then illegal immigration won't stop.

The trick is to stay on the fence without crossing over to either side.

The only thing you get by sitting on the fence is a stick up your ass.

Why?

So build a large wall, increase ICE agents AND fine business, right?

What does an illegal immigrant need a job for with all the freebies they get in the US?

Because airport personnel are scared of their own shadow.

Despite the correction, I still think that would've been awesome. Imagine the announcement on the news...

"Forced to march onto the tarmac topless by security personnel, pasties firmly attached and tassels in the breeze, this unique form of public shaming is the new punitive response to trespassers at Los Angeles International Airport. Passengers awaiting flights in the Tom Bradley International Terminal watched in amusement as the trespasser was paraded between the 07L and 24L runways while the loudspeaker blared the man's name and violation details."

It apparently doesn't work at LAX either. Because this isn't the first time this has happened.

Just like the lock on your house and car won't keep determined thieves from breaking in. So don't bother locking up. Fark Logic at its best.

The only solution for this is to build a beautiful big wall, like the biggest most wonderful one, 5000 feet tall. That should keep the airport safe.

Seattle will figure that out soon enough.  Somebody is going to start handing out wire cutters to the homeless.  It only takes a few snips to get a wire out of a chain link fence, and then they just come apart.

No.  But we can fine businesses, shut down ICE, and tear down the wall.

About that.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel-Gaza_barrier#Tunnels_under_the_barrier

Apparently it's an issue because now Israel is spending millions more to dig underneath to keep people from tunneling underneath. And this is for a wall that's only 40 miles long. How much money would we be wasting on a border that's nearly 2000 miles long?

Conservatives are addicted to expensive boondoggles. It doesn't matter how often they hear that putting up walls in the Rio Grande or in desert hundreds of miles away from where illegals immigrants cross the border is a vad use of money, they want thier tax money going there.

And it won't even span across the Rio Grande, which is how a lot of them get here, hence the racial slur.

So arguing that the border wall for a much smaller country is totally analogous the huge wall is valid, but don't you dare try and say that nationalized health care working in a smaller country can scale to the US.
