I've been a Fark Rebel since 2003. I was at the Battle of Boobies and Wieners. I served on that submarine computer.  When Digg dugg at us, I was there!

Well, it's a jungle out there, so basement, no.

More like a kid's treehouse in the backyard, with your little sister bringing you snacks all afternoon.

Fark Hotel - what a great idea. Las Vegas, swimming pools, giant nutsack squirrel looming over the desert,
Drew Curtis as casino pit boss, and twice nightly shows with the comedy stylings of Wil Wheaton.

Or, or, it could be one if those deep woods Shining-style hotels, The FarkLook, haunted by dead Farkers. Drew could get a magical negro with a plow tractor and everything.

"It is located near the hamlet of La Guajira" .     Which is basically an arid farking dump in a country that is normally 99.9 percent green and lovely.

It is populated by local tribes but had a shiat ton of middle eastern settlers in the day.

It is a farking truly bizarre shiathole that I cannot imagine anyone would want to vacation there.

I say that as a card carrying Colombian.

This will work just as well as Socialist nostalgia worked in Eastern Europe, where it attracts primarily non-paying fans, and not customers.

So what's the thinking behind this?
Because I can't imagine going so cheap you end up with no customers.

You would be surprised, there are a lot of european back packers, who want to experience the "real" colombia, and sign up for shiat like this.  Then go home and talk about it.

FARC has been around since 1964.
I don't see them ending any time soon.
They probably will end, with many splinter groups taking up the name.

Yeah and there's no KKK either.
Except for the 29+ groups all using the name and the many others using the name because it's the name to have.

I stayed at a place just like what they're describing - thatched roof, in the jungle, mosquito netting, no electricity, made without power tools from local building materials, wildlife under the floors trying to get in at all hours....

Oddly enough, it was called Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica, and has been around for at least 10 years, with a 4-5 star rating, and it wa  located in Peru. Something like $2,500/week for the privilege of not having cable, hot water, ice, AC, telephones....

Those FARCers should add 'eco friendly' and 'environmentally aware' to the title and they'll be rolling in dough. You just have to 10 percent of the population of the planet to visit just once.

/watched toucan Sam rip open the screen on the kitchen hut to steal food
//a flock of parrots (perhaps called a yenta of parrots?) are beautiful, unless they're nesting, yammering, fighting, procreating, above your Gilligan built cabana at dawn. And noon. And 10pm. And midnight. And 2am. And 4am.
///after a long day at an eco lodge on the Amazon river, near the equator without refrigeration, a previously opened bottle of Baileys is not apropos after dinner, or any other time; unless you want to spend the night painting the bathroom with a double ended brush.

Farc rebels are starting up hotel resorts?

I blame Trump. He makes being a global thug look easier than being a baboon.
