I heard the part in quotation marks with a C&W twang beat to it.

🎶If we ever get to Mars
The beer might not be bad
And when my rover leaves me
It'll help me when I'm sad🎶

The potato vodka, however, has a fecal aftertaste.

Global warming is part of the lizard Illuminati conspiracy to terraform Mars.  Stay with me here, what's the barrier to living on Mars? no atmosphere! how do you terraform a planet with no atmosphere?  You melt the core of the planet until it has a sufficient magnetosphere to allow an atmosphere to develop.  The lizard people need to use Earth as a giant heat sink to remelt the core of Mars and so they need Earth to be hotter to have sufficient thermal energy to beam to Mars so that they can resettle thier original home planet.

Studying plants that grow well, so he goes ahead with hops but vetoed cannabis? ok then. Great study there buddy.

/When the replicants finally send us back the first mars beer shortly before their rebellion, I'll hazard a sip or two.

The IPA was created to survive the long ship journey to India. Imagine how hoppy the MPA will be.

Mars ain't the kind of place to brew your beer
In fact it's cold as hell
And there's no one there to drink it, if you did

Beers are from Mars. Wines are from Venus.

And the soil used was about as Martian jam.

And the gravity differential was not mentioned.

I think 30 foot tall stalks of corn would be pretty cool.

You're going to have to let this "Martian gravity kills everything it touches" meme go. It's 4/10 Earth gravity. It's not the same as microgravity.

We sent rovers there which could take soil samples and tell us what's in It.

And it's as if hops are the only ingredient in beer. Until they show there will be water, barley, and yeast, I'll temper my excitement.

especially since the tax payer will be footing the costs and private companies will reap the profits. socialism is great when it benifits rich capitalists.

Lies, the actual martian soil is toxic to life. Please stop selling Mars, we need asteroid mining NOW, we have less than 60 years worth of phosphorous until we have no choice but to return to subsistence farming.

1) TFA specifically addressed the topic of perchlorates

2) The bacterium they experimented on was in no way adapted to live in that environment, it lives on the walls of human habitats. What did they think was going to happen?

Well it's also very radioactive, so there's that.

Oh. So we don't need to consider the impact on a vascular system which is now not operating under the full G it evolved in.

Gotcha. This will have zero impact. Great news.
