(ESPN)   Not content to troll the Patriots, ESPN implies the Browns will draft another nobody at QB. Jokes on them, Browns don't even need a QB   ( espn.com) divider line

This headline truly is hilarious... you know the Browns are gonna draft a QB bust one way or another. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if they took 2!

So they're giving up on Kizer after 1 year? That's as Browns as it gets

They could also take a chance that the QB they want, if indeed they want one, will be on the board at #4.

He's 6'5, and has hella great numbers.   haven't seen him play, but i trust the new GM has and will choose accordingly.   Could be the next Rothlisberger that nobody saw coming.

And they gave up on Kessler after 1 year, and Johnny Manziel after 2.

Basically, whenever new management comes in, the first thing to go is the previous QB.  That's the root of the problem.

Doesn't that make him their longest tenured QB in the past 20 years? They'll probably retire his number.

Kizer will be on the roster.  Ain't nobody giving up on him...  I like Kizer, but if you have a chance to upgrade the position, its smart.

In a dream world, they'd pry Garrapolo from San Fran, for like 1 year, 30 million, and see what happens after that.

Ok Cleveland, draft a stud QB and buy up the best OL free agents/draft a couple so that whoever is back there can drink a cup of coffee while waiting for Josh Gordon to get open in the end zone. Really this isn't that hard.

Kizer be like "Oh, Goff had a stellar sophomore season? Hold my beer."

The Browns should keep drafting QBs until they have an all QB team. How do you beat that?

The end of game lateral plays would be entertaining.

The same way as usual. There will just be more INTs.
A Browns QB will win the Jake every week. Only problem will be picking which one.

Most of the Browns games this past season were close games. They're going to be even better this season. It's a mathematical certainty they will start winning.

Last 10 season win loss record: 38 - 122

I know that even a broken clock is right twice a day, but the Browns seem more like a broken digital wristwatch.

I agree. I'd go as far as saying the Browns make the playoffs by 2020.

Darnold and Rosen both looked like shiat every time I saw them.  Admittedly thats based on only 2 games each, and I also thought Ryan Leaf would be a stud.

Darnold is almost guaranteed to hold up the recent USC QB tradition of Sanchez, Leinart and Barkley. I wouldn't draft him in the 3rd round

Oh you poor thing.

I remember being a Royals fan in the GM Allard Baird years, and we'd say things just like this to each other. "David DeJesus is a legit Gold Glover! That DJ Carasco, he's a good reliever and with some work, he could be a starter! The good days are coming now!"

They will be tasked with drawing the post-season brackets on a big piece of posterboard and hanging it near the entrance.

Ok, but that's the same strategy every team has and there just aren't that many stud qb's and OL guys. I mean, seriously, that is also the Giants strategy with the #2 pick. Let's get a stud QB, patch up the OL with the remaining draft picks and free agency, and let whoever is back there just air it out to OBJ.
But, y'know, easier said than done.
