This just in, top-level professional athletes are so good at their sports that it borders on the obscene.

Eh, that Kuzma kid they've got is pretty good at the trey.

True but Curry is on a level even above them. Most 3 point shooters, you see them think about it, make a move to give themselves room, get set and then shoot - it happens extremely quickly but there's definitely a routine. Curry just kind of looks up at the basket and shoots and still hits it 40% of the time.

I saw the Cavs game against the nuggets a couple of weeks ago and I was blown away by some little guy in street clothes who was draining three after three before the game.  Then the camera showed him on the Jumbotron for a second.  It was IT.  And it was probably only like eight or nine shots in a row, but it was enough for me to be reminded of how stupid good all of these players are.

You know, it would be fun to be able to shoot like that. Even if I couldn't play ball at a high school level, it'd be fun to just shoot around in the backyard and sink three after three after three.

FTFA: "I would say for him, that's a really good number. I'm not saying that's his best. Ninety-six is his best ever. But 94 basically shows you that he's in a good rhythm. He's shooting well."

Most NBA players can't make 96 out 100 free throws in practice. Some of them might not even be able to make 96 out of 100 lay-ups.

Yea, that kid can shoot. His daddy was pretty good too.

sure, but can he do it while hungover with the flu while the Jordan Rules are in effect and giving Phil Jackson a literal piggyback ride on the court?

yeah, i didn't think so. bill murray is still the better player.

I guess. I went 10 for 10 one time in high school just shooting around at the local playground. You'll note that's a higher percentage than Curry. I was just talking about it with some old hometown friends at the local roadside bar over on E Street when I was back in town for the holidays.

"says Warriors coach"

That's where you lose me. I think he's trying to plant the idea into opponent's heads. If Luke Walton says he saw it, I'd be more inclined to believe it.

Well then lets see how he did in the Grizzlies game...

"His game-high 38 points came on only 17 shot attempts, as Curry made 3-of-4 two-pointers and shot an impressive 10-of-13 from the three-point line. He is the only player this season with 35 points entering the fourth quarter while playing fewer than 25 minutes, and one of only two players since 2000 to score at least 38 points in 27-or-fewer minutes. His 10 three-pointers on the night represent the most made by any NBA player in a single game this season, and give him nine career games with at least 10 treys, the most in NBA history."

Thats some Sweet Georgia Brown shiat right there.

Curry's random 3 pointer-related records are sort of hilarious. He's got like the most games with 5+, 6+, 7+, 8+, 9+, 10+, 11+, 12+ and 13+ (well, 13. He's got the only 13 3 game) 3s, and he's got double or more of #2 for most of those.

Curry's threes are legendary but when he completely runs around all the big men making them look like fools is just some great basketball.  You don't see any player doing that kind of stuff, even the great ball handlers.
Gobert and Gasol were both DPOY and Curry destroyed both of them (and Lebron in the finals.)  Gasol just gave up and watched Curry drain over him on that play vs. the Grizzlies.  Good times in the Bay Area!

He shoots .934 from FT line, so shooting same percentage from "slightly" further away without pressure is not surprising

Yeah man, its the handle before the shot that makes him so fun to watch. Oh and the crazy assists, lobs, court vision... just wildly entertaining basketball. And I am no expert, but it looks like other player hella foul him all the time taboot.

This commentary is funny to me, but maybe obnoxious to others...
