(Politico)   Trump says Huma Abedin should be jailed. She has been accused of disregarding basic security protocols. Well, based on that criteria, Donnie should be in prison for life for blabbing to the Russians while in the Oval Office   ( politico.com) divider line

The dumbass just doesn't realize that he's the President of the United States.

He's always complaining that "they" should do "something", like he's not the person actually in charge of doing "something".

Well, he is. He's the idiot in charge of doing Executive Branch things, so he should stop biatching like a whiny little titty baby and do his job. If there's legitimate reason to prosecute, shut up and do it. If there's not, just shut up, idiot.

MrBallou: so he should stop biatching like a whiny little titty baby and do his job.

He didn't expect to win and was just going to continue being an asshole and complain about Hillary.

So he is continuing with the pre-election strategy and just being an asshole and complaining about Hillary.

I think his problem is someone explained to him the he can't do that. He can't call Jeff Sessions and tell him to bring Hillary to the Oval Office in chains and he's frustrated.

Because the commander in chief doesn't know what the UCMJ is.

My cousin from Switzerland said the same thing about this regarding the US. I think they feel more pity than anything else; they KNOW the asshole-in-chief is corrupt and can't fathom why nothing is being done about it (by the minority i.e., Republicans).

Hack Patooey: The President of the US calling for someone to be jailed.  We have let this become the new normal, and its incredibly dangerous.

Came to say this.  He's already on record as stating that he can open and close investigations through the justice department.  During the campaign "lock her up, lock her up..." was a chant that, however scary, had an element of some hyperbole to it.  (Or maybe I just couldn't believe I was hearing it at the time).  Saying that someone should be jailed has an air of specificity that is truly scary.  I imagine Trump will start weighing in on executions.  "Can't get the drugs?  Use the anti-aircraft gun."

2018-01-02 04:05:15 PM
He's gone from "lock her up" to "lock her aide up".  By 2019 he'll settle for the heads of actual low-level volunteers in the Clinton campaign, and even then he'll be lucky to nail them for anything more than a parking ticket.

It's totally justified if moving to a secure location means your two scoops of ice cream would melt all over that beautiful chocolate cake.

You have to balance these things out you know, with the one move, compromise the national security of the United State, but on the other, you come back to soggy cake and ice cream puddles, nobody wants that.

He ruined any chance at prosecution the State may have had today.  That's not too imply that the DOJ that a case, rather that if they did, they don't now.

I was traveling internationally during the Bush Jr. Presidency and felt so embarrassed I hid my US Passport through the airports and kept any conversations indicating my nationality quiet until I got to customs. Now? I'm not even gonna chance it for the next three years...

1) Giving the public a daily look at how deranged the president is is a good thing in my books.

2) Blocking his account would put Twitter in a major political shiatstorm that they would rather avoid.

I haven't looked at Twitter's, but typically the terms of service use words like "may" not "shall" so ignoring it is usually within the terms. For example they usually say to the order of Twitter may delete your account if you do X, Y, or Z.
