I've seen this movie. Better a chest-burster to end things quickly than a multiplying microbe.

That stuff killed you a lot faster than a burster. And with less face rape.

Here's an idea
What if they do some experiments with these microbes on the ISS?
We should be pretty safe down here

I would make a joke about ork spores but GW lobotomized them along time ago and now they are no fun to play.

/seriously, modern ork stats are equivalent to the lobotomized orks in their original rulebook

Well, burn them in orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

You mean, easier than detecting that big freaky crab-thing with a  death grip on their face and shoving its alien wing-wang down their throat?

Alien DNA never ends well for a space station.

Geez, I thought they'd developed a new, improved, faster-than-ever pregnancy test with Subby's headline.

/thankfully will never need one again

This technique only works for microbes which use DNA. So if there are Alien non-DNA microbes in the sample, they ignored them and amplified the Earth-based microbe DNA. In other words, this experiment does almost nothing.

Stupid ISS in low-Earth orbit continues to do nothing. Send moar bots to Mars!

Usually I have to pay extra for that.
