Oh for fark's sake.

So we're doing headlines where every word is a lie now? Sign of the times I suppose.

I expect about 25 new players in Seattle next year.

New O-line, new kicker, mostly new RBs, what else am I missing?

So, does this mean that the Seahawks will be on probation next year or the following one ?

In before Tom Brady. Somehow....

2018-01-01 01:20:41 AM
If he does retire after one subpar year, he's kind of a wuss.

I can think of a lot more punchable faces than Carroll. Also, he's not retiring.

2018-01-01 02:13:50 AM
The NFL doesn't put teams on probation and they're allowed to pay players.

2018-01-01 02:32:00 AM
It appears from his crooked nose that he's been punched in the face a few times already.

Since when does Pete Carroll have a punchable face?

Have you seen him on that sideline when they score? He's bouncing around like an 8 year old kid on Christmas morning. Never seen anyone so excited about football. He just loves the game too much, and his love is infectious.

Since that pass flew into Malcolm Butler's hands, probably...

So the Going gets tough and Carrol walks? Hmmm sounds familiar

Excitedly clicked on this--WTF, NOT TOM BRADY?!?!?!?  UNINTERESTED.

2018-01-01 08:47:27 AM
You mean that guy at the bar that suddenly yells, YEAH!!!# and knocks your cheeseburger out of your hand at first bite when he jumps up?

 Not punchable.
Prankabke in the parking lot.
But not punchabke.

People should get excited about how their tax dollars are spent.
Not how some overpaid jackwad tripped another overpaid jackwad then tried to sell you insurance because he blew through the money.

We made fun of all those flat earth NBA players so don't forget that Pete is a 9/11 truther

2018-01-01 09:49:31 AM
Hopefully he shows the class his team has epitomized throughout his tenure there and takes several cheap shots at team executives as he leaves the offices. Dive at the knees of the GM, poke the eyes of the head scout, maybe a groin punch for the director of player personnel.

Then he just needs to fake a police brutality incident and condescend to the reporters in the press room because STANFORD, and he'll have truly gone out like a Seahawk.

I was expecting Cortlan_ _innegan. The headline lied.

2018-01-01 10:56:04 AM
Pete Carrol isn't even the most punchable face among NFL head coaches (Harbaugh & Garrett instantly spring to mind and more if I thinkl, let alone the entire NFL.

Best rusher in the league? 2 downs and time left? Ball on 2 yard line? Yeah, let's throw the ball. Fu*king idiot.

But thanks for the present 3 years ago, Pete.

Considering he jumped ship from SC the second he found out sanctions were coming from the NCAA, that shouldn't come as a surprise.

Ironically most Seahawks fans don't even know who the head coach was before Pete Carroll.

Apparently some posters get their fee-fees hurt when their favorite team gets their noses bloodied by a competitive west coast team.

Holmgren was great but never got the Seahawks the ring; the Caroll era has put Seattle on the NFL map and the city will be forever greatful.

If the best coach in Seahawks history decided on a well-deserved retirement at sixty-six surfing on some sunny beach in Southern California it would be an unfortunate thing for the Seahawks but at this point he's earned the right to leave on his own terms.
