The moose had earlier been seen at a strip club drinking with an unnamed flying squirrel.

Alcohol may have played a role in the accident, police said. .....[image from too old to be available]

Interesting . . .

I once shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas I will never know.

I hit a deer on my motorcycle when I was younger in northern Michigan. I was going around 100 MPH. Ripped my pants and helmet right off. I was picking gravel out of my skull for 2 months. While the helmet saved my life I still believe that the rider should decide.
Had it been a moose instead of a deer I doubt that a helmet would have made any difference.

I wonder if the guy was even wearing a helmet in this, wouldn't ya think his head would have been ok if he'd of had one on?

I ran over a small child once at about 100Mph on my motorcycle. I was picking shreds of barbie doll and my little pony out of my ass for weeks.

This was written by a "journalist," not by someone who actual knows how to write in English. The headline is funny, but the event is sad, as is the fact that the journalist learned to read and write English from matchbook advertisements.

I hope he has doesn't give up his day job to become a writer.

I'm from Vermont and was out snowmobing on the very trails he was this weekend.

I don't know for sure, and it's not a law, but i bet he was wearing a helmet. 99.9% of snowmobilers wear helmets...i haven't seen someone on the trails without a helmet in a couple year.

2nd fatality this season....sad.

My uncle once hit a moose on his motorcycle up in Ontario, I think near Thunder Bay. He's still living. No wait, actually the moose ran him off the road.
