Looks like he is handling the treatments quite well.   8 rounds.

Good luck,  godspeed and all that.

I'm keeping my Craftsman with the Kohler engine.

I would have thought chemo would have been enough of a harrowing experience.

In case things don't work out, here's what a grim reaper would look like:

John Deere love is stupid, especially since they (and all big business related to farming) seem mostly interested in screwing over the American farmer.

Yet, farmers love them John Deere the way they and West Virginia miners love Trump.

Sorry kid, the wealthy 1% decided they needed a tax cut and that means taking away your health insurance. Please die quickly and quietly away from all media attention and the state will possibly cremate your remains free of charge.

I'm not sure John Deere would make the cut for my bucket list...

Because they are expensive and "american", and probably the only company that bothered to spend money advertising on t.v.. Same reason people love the Ford GTO and BMWs. Only people who ever had the misfortune of dealing with that asshole company have any understanding how awful they are.

Status symbol of money. Because only rich fools can afford to have them.

Why couldn't they upgrade him to a chemo V or even a chemo VI?

Yeah, but this is a child.  Children love big mechanical things.  Don't you remember when working on a garbage truck seemed liked the coolest possible job ever?

I believe he was referring to love for the John Deere brand, not tractors and whatnot.  Everybody loves tractors and whatnot.

Lots of farm kids grow up with affection for JD. Look at how many types of green toy tractor sets are available next time you're in a farm&ranch store.

Sure, Kubota or TYM or Mahindra have been gaining market share, but a lot of folks want to stay loyal to JD, New Holland, Case IH, etc. Sometimes the right dealership can make the difference - certainly more so than with automobiles.
