Yeah, not so fast. The NY AG is still investigating, so it can't shut down yet.

Fortunately, the "charity" flat-out admitted to self-dealing in a filing with the IRS, so it's kind of hard to play innocent now.

And Trump will repay the funds he diverted to himself and his family when exactly?

I'm sure they'll shut down as soon as Trumpy figures out a way to spend all their remaining money on Trumpy's favorite charity.

Yeah. We got caught, so we're actually going to do what we said under the guise of keeping our promises. If nobody had done any digging (curse you, fake news) we would have continued fleecing rubes and lining our own pockets.

""As the foundation is still under investigation by this office, it cannot legally dissolve until that investigation is complete," said Spitalnick."

Trump's charity was built to funnel free cash into his pockets.

His son would later create a children's cancer charity, and then also took that money, and put it into his pocket.

The turd doesn't fall far from the asshole.

I've been wondering what the current state of The Donald J. Trump foundation was. Turns out, it's exactly the same as last February where Donald Trump is trying to shut it down to hinder an on-going investigation.

In the White House, perhaps?

To be fair, William Henry Harrison decided to swear in like a badass, standing in the freezing rain without an umbrella.  But nature showed she had more bad, and more ass.

Mr. Trump likes to steal from people and call it charity.  I don't know what you call people that do that in Russia, but here in America we call them creeps.

20% of mineable US uranium sold to a RUSSIAN (OMG!!!) company whose donors contributed handsomely to the CF. All the while HRC was Secretary of State.

Hmmm.  You're right. Completely a non-story.

Just more Russian backed whataboutism. It's pretty obvious the playbook they run, unfortunately the trumper rubes eat it up because they've been all gaslit to hell. I mean they're literally saying they prefer a child molester to any Dem in Mississippi.

Yes, it is a non-story.

Do you know who approved this sale?

The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS, commonly pronounced as if "Cifius" /ˈsɪfi.əs/) is an inter-agency committee of the United States Government that reviews the national security implications of foreign investments in U.S. companies or operations. Chaired by the United States Secretary of the Treasury, CFIUS includes representatives from 16 U.S. departments and agencies, including the Defense, State and Commerce departments, as well as (most recently) the Department of Homeland Security.

There are 9 voting members. They all voted unanimously. If she's that strong a leader to strong-arm 8 other agencies, maybe she should have been President after all.

It is a non-story. It wasn't some secret backroom deal that was suddenly aired out. It was publicly done, went through multiple committees for approval, none of which Hillary Clinton was on or even involved in,  and confirmed. Also, it wasn't 20% of our uranium and even if it was it isn't like the uranium has evaporated. It's still in the farking mountains here. Also Rosatom can't even export any of it. They don't have the required license. Also, it was a Canadian company that was sold. However it is a great distraction from Trump's fark ups and corruption so Faux News talks about it 24/7 and the morons eat it up. That's you. You are one of the morons.

Hey comrade, did they edit Hogan's Heroes in your country so that Sargent Schultz was jewish?  Because I have a feeling there would not have been a lot of Schwartzes in the German army at that time.

It is even stupider than you suggest. Clinton as SoS wasn't even a member of that committee. It was Assistant SoS Juan Hernandez.

That's assuming someone in the shiatbag administration is as smart or talented as a Grand Moff. We're looking at Grand Mop level intelligence. Or that little black droid that Chewie growled at.

Also, "self funding"? Is that what we're calling embezzlement these days?

Correct, she didn't even have power to veto that choice, nor influence the other 8. As for the "donors", there was 1 person who donated to CF and had ties to the Canadian company, and he had left the company 9-10 years before this.

I suppose if you're stupid enough to believe anything that comes from Trump, Fox, Rush, or Hannity's mouth, you're dumb enough to believe this. Anything to deflect away from the 100% failure rate that is Trump.
