Bland = still drinkable. Not good, but physically able to consume.

Red, White and Blue "beer" is not. To this day, it's the only beer I've only taken one sip of and threw away the lot. And that was whilst in college.

I remember ordering a Bud in a GI bar and peeling back the label to find an OB beer.

For him, this is a problem. He weakens his brand and his integrity when he takes cash to endorse a shiat product. Me, I'd gladly endorse pretty much any product but my brand is shiat so it doesn't matter.

We had to "obtain" some black label beer cans for a college scavenger hunt.  We couldn't drink it.  We couldn't give it away in a freshman dorm.  It was that bad.
/dad bought some red, white, and blue beer for the 4th of July

I'm not a big beer drinker. There are a few I like, but I mostly think beer tastes bad. It's not refreshing at all. The ones I like I drink to get a buzz.

That said, there are some really bad beers out there, and it's always funny when you run into one. You taste it, and it's hard to believe it actually exists as a product you can buy. Who drinks the truly bad beers? Are they made for a segment of the population that have different taste buds than most people? I mean, they must be making money on them, somehow.

I got sick of paying $10 for a six pack, so I've been on a cheap beer kick lately.. Beers like PBR, Coors, Hamm's, Rainer, Icehouse, Natural Ice and Miller High Life. None are great, but they go well with a burger or a big sandwich.
Anyhow, of those beers listed, Miller was the worst. It didn't have a taste at first, but it left a weird aftertaste. 'Champagne of Beers' my ass.

/never heard of Cass beer.

Wow. I haven't heard that one since I was single digit age. Sips of my parents' RW&B (as well as Pabst WAY before it was cool) was what convinced me I would never drink beer. Of course that changed 20 years later, but the beers were better.

Once, while I was living in Korea, I flew back to the US for a couple of weeks to visit a good friend. A friend of my friend had formerly been stationed in Korea and asked me to bring back a bottle of Cass "for the memories". So I brought this bottle for him and we all met up at a party. This guy went around the party asking everyone if they wanted to try Korean beer, and everyone would open the bottle, sniff, and go, "Uh, no thanks, man." He couldn't get any takers at all.

Personally, though, I think Coors Light gets the prize for the worst beer I've ever tasted.
