That's hilarious. The photo's not showing up on eBay though. From the description sounds like it would be a good candidate for a PS.
2002-01-13 09:20:40 AM
Mighty deserving of that strange tag.
2002-01-13 09:22:24 AM
i-mockery is a guy, not just a domain name?
hey guy, that general zod web page was the funniest thing ever. made me go back and watch superman II and for a couple weeks all i spoke were terrance stamp quotes...
2002-01-13 09:22:34 AM
Well, Wil has the winning bid, placed within an hour of the auction going online -- although wookie2000 had placed a bid, but retracted it because he "[d]id not realize hat was not made from actual pickle".
2002-01-13 09:23:40 AM
*sniff* God bless capitalism...
2002-01-13 09:33:33 AM
Wil...dude. Save your money.

No really. Don't even bother
2002-01-13 09:47:15 AM
Did you see the retracted bid? Reason- did not realize hat was not made of real pickle!
2002-01-13 09:50:49 AM
I think I should get in a bidding war with Wil. I mean, I've got at LEAST 4 bucks to spend on that, and I don't think Mister Hollywood Bigshot can top that. sireee.
2002-01-13 10:28:08 AM
click on the link to find out about pickle hat.
there is a picture there.
2002-01-13 10:31:51 AM
In one of Wil's transactions he was winning bidder of one of his movies. That's cool.
2002-01-13 10:47:29 AM
is he gonna buy every copy of that movie and then have a huge bonfire of it? ;-)

2002-01-13 10:52:18 AM
someone had to start the bidding war :)
2002-01-13 11:02:23 AM
There is no bidding war, tardboy, did you read the description? If anyone else bids, the auction is over.
2002-01-13 11:03:39 AM
course i read it, like folks still arent gonna bid?
2002-01-13 11:07:25 AM
what the heck is with that punch card crap i see everywhere?
2002-01-13 11:08:04 AM
Someone's always gotta be an ass.
2002-01-13 11:13:23 AM
is it down, or is it just my shiatty isp?
2002-01-13 11:17:29 AM
What he may not realize is that he is going to have to pay a % of the winning bid to eBay, even if he is only selling the item for $2 to Will.
2002-01-13 11:17:39 AM
Hey I thought this guy was waiting in line in Seattle for the Star Wars movie to open. Oh wait, that's a different loser.
2002-01-13 11:30:11 AM
According to the currency converter, 500 canadian comes out to $312.50 US.
2002-01-13 11:33:56 AM
What the Freak!?
2002-01-13 11:35:26 AM
OMG you're right Atomicf, its almost as tho Wil was making a ....joke! No way, that'd make him some sort of "comedian", the very thought of which is, quite frankly, the most absurd thing I've heard in quite some time.
2002-01-13 11:48:40 AM
If anyone is interested in how this whole "Wil is going to buy a crappy picture of I-Mockery (Fark name) wearing a pickle hat for $500 Canadian which is like $2 American plus 85 cents for shipping signed with a burnt sienna crayon", go back and read the discussion thread for:

Wil Wheaton on WorldWideWank's radio show this Sunday. All Farkers encouraged to call in

Posted last friday.
2002-01-13 11:53:57 AM
Waitasec, Atomicf it appears that there was a typo in the ebay auction. I-mockery seems to have left out just what Wil would be offering 500 of. Maybe its Canadian bacon. Tho I doubt you could get more than 20 for 2 dollars. Or maybe its Canadian paperclips, you can get a load of those in little boxes. The point is we won't know 500 what untill the typo is fixed and I don't think it's safe to assume.

sarcasm mode off.
2002-01-13 11:55:29 AM
In case you didn't notice, someone else is the high bidder. I would like to see what happens.
2002-01-13 11:56:46 AM
wookie2000 (20) Retracted
Explanation: Did not realize hat was not made from actual pickle
2002-01-13 11:59:36 AM
retracted bids are funny...

Hey Supichoo, what kind of a jerk spends $306.00 on their wedding ring??? I really hope those are for your daughter to play house with cuz anybody who buys a wedding ring off ebay from a guy named CHICAGO CHUCK deserves a divorce.

(Thank you, please drive through)
2002-01-13 12:15:23 PM
it was a b-day present, not a wedding ring.....
2002-01-13 12:18:38 PM
Um yeah let's remember to save some for everyone else next time we pass around the doobie before ebaying...

What this I hear about wil whaetons selling a pic of himself on e-bay......

Maybe if its will farrell.. or the 90's supergroup will to power...or perhaps the guy that plays will truman on will and grace or or or the will of the late william shakespear .. will robinson from lost in space he's not dead so we don't want his will but I will settle for a picture of him because his character on lost in space was at least likeable and not queer.

will i mean well ..... time for me to go now

will see you all later

god willing

hahahhahhahhhhhhhhhhahahahhahhahahah -erp-

This guy reminds me of Geddy Lee from the band Rush. Does anyone else see the resemblance?
2002-01-13 12:48:19 PM
how does 500 canadian translate to $2 US? hmm...
2002-01-13 12:53:33 PM
well 1 us dollar would equal 250 canadian
then 2 us dollars would equal 500 canadian

500/2 = 250

If Johnny has 500 canadian apples and eats 250 of them how many apples does johnny have left in US apples after he has diarrhea for a month and a half.

Answer 1

Because Canadian apples suck and their ever handy 250-1 ratio is wonderful (if you want diarrhea)

there is your answer

I'm glad to see that Mockery is finally getting money for his dashing good looks and that charming smile. Standing on street corners hasn't been working out too good for him lately.
2002-01-13 12:55:43 PM
When someone rips you off
2002-01-13 01:01:40 PM
Ooooo! Jezus, Beefy! Please... No math in the morning! Oh, my achin' head...

Oh well! At least you didn't say the apples were driving in opposite directions at 80.6 US mph and 40,876 Canadian kph...
2002-01-13 01:09:42 PM
Second Part....

the apples are going through Johnnys body at a rate 80.6 us mph (thats 40,876 Canadian kph) how fast will the Diarrha slam into the potty and totally devoid johnnys body of hydration ??

A. Who cares if he is dumbass enough to eat anything canadian let him die!
2002-01-13 01:17:49 PM

I doubt that I would have any right to my Fark account name if I didn't say that you were somewhat correct.

2002-01-13 01:20:05 PM threw away the I-Mockery pic of the picklehat...

let's see if it stays this time...
2002-01-13 01:28:33 PM
Does anyone believe that this is actually wil wheaton bidding on the item?, come on now.
2002-01-13 02:01:24 PM
Probably is Gp He did say on the other thread he would buy it. He has the sort of sense of humor to actually follow through.
Beefy..or Will Riker
Wet Orgazm Those pics were just...disturbing.
2002-01-13 02:10:00 PM
GpshunterYes, especially since that is his ebay id name that is the high bidder.
2002-01-13 02:13:26 PM
This is funny how?
2002-01-13 02:18:15 PM
Yeah Rifter, it probably should have gotten the 'follow up' tag.
It's still cool that he's true to his word.

Too bad he didn't win the auction to rule FARK for a day. I bet he has some pretty farked up websites he visits.

No offense to the guy who won, though. Congrats.
2002-01-13 02:18:36 PM
This auction came about because of this thread.
2002-01-13 02:19:37 PM
And it really is wil wheaton.
2002-01-13 02:23:43 PM
Guy in pickle hat won't leave my head! Get out of there!
