They linked McDavid to the crime through feces found in the bushes in which the co-worker had claimed to have seen someone holding a gun.

No love or joy in that marriage.

I'm surprised she managed to find a hitman who wasn't an undercover FBI agent.

Also always smart to attempt to
Murder your husband at the time of divorce.  Police will never suspect you then.

When I am hired, I typically give a lengthy NDA so my name doesn't get out. I also hide my website behind 7 proxies on the dark web. Also, due to the high price of bitcoin I make my clients pay me in unmarked gold bars at a different dead drop and only contact people with burner phones. You can never be too safe.

There's an old saying regarding office romances: "Don't shiat where you get your bread."  Applies to murder work, too.

Also: After an investigation into the incident, police discovered that Lovejoy bought the phone used to place the call to her estranged husband.

What was the cover story there supposed to be, exactly?

"If Weldon McDavid wanted to kill someone with his skill set, he would have done so. ... That was not his intent," his attorney said, according to KSWB.

Not sure that I'd calling shiatting in a bush a "skill set".

The adrenaline affects everybody differently. One time on a heist, Big Pussy left behind a load so big, cops thought a bear had busted into the place.

Given how often these cases seem to come up, women probably need to be taught it's not ok to hire someone to kill your spouse just because you don't like the divorce.

The guy with his hands crossed is the co-defendant (aka the guy who took a dump in the bushes). He's going to jail for 50 years, and at that particular moment in time probably would not have cared if she exploded.

Seems to me that both sexes go for the old "I'll hire a Hitman(Cop LOL) to murder my spouse" fairly equally, as I can remember. I'm sure there is a statistic or study somewhere out there that compares that.

Mostly it's a joke, because of the whole "teach men not to rape" idea. We have to "teach women not to rape minors" and in this case "teach women not to murder their spouse" as part of that meme.

However, now I'm not so sure about that since they don't keep track of those as directly attributable to the partner of the murdered spouse. BJS keeps those separate as "multi-offender killings", of which husbands are 4 time's more likely to be victims. That kind of skews the results, obviously.

Blow Job Services? :P Honestly though, I guess we'll never know because only the Hitmen and the persons that hired them, if were not caught, know the true numbers. Doubt you will get anyone to answer those questions on a Survey. . .

Bureau of Justice Statistics

Of course the ones not caught are, by definition, uncountable but that's any crime.

Considering initiate 70 percent of divorces, I would argue they should think it through better
