All kidding aside, Whiskey and Dynamite would be an awesome C&W band name.

Seems like an unstable, albeit awesome, foundation.

*googles* It's apparently the name of a former bluegrass band from Sweden, does that count?

I think it depends on how old the whiskey and dynamite are. I mean, if either is sweating, I'm worried.

Yeah.  I'd also like to point out that Russia had a big hand in creating modern Alaska.   I lived in Kodiak and every little village in western AK at least has an onion dome Church in it.    Lots of Russian surnames and street names,  islands, etc.

I was there when, in the early 80's,  a Soviet research vessel showed up.  They parked at the ferry dock and the ladies especially were all ready to hit the American streets and especially the American shopping (dressed in their best 10 years out of date clothes).   The first things they see are Baranov House, the Russian Orthodox Church and the RO Seminary.   The RO priests came down to greet them and some of the older Native aunties were speaking Russian with them.

There were a few disconcerted looks on the Soviet faces, till they got to the shops.   America!

Last Saturday night, I was drinking dynamite
After the whiskey ran dry,
Drunk as a skunk, before I blew up
And outshone the Northern Lights!

/guess I wrote half a country song...

and I don't think much was built, either.  More like a few resting spots carved out and some gullies shored up to toss the empties in.

I was thinking a Highwaymen cover band.

Pretty sure it was built by Chinese slaves on land stolen from the native people.

Fixed that to reflect reality, sadly.....

The whiskey is just for medicinal purposes, and the dynamite is for fun.

Including that first marriage to each other, Smith has been married a total of five times and Hocking six times.
"We're not very good at it, let's put it that way," Smith said.

Wow. I'm glad they've found each other - and good they're making a go of it, but getting married once was enough for me.
