FYI, lots of pros (John Paul Jones & Elton John for starters, I THINK) would tour with a sampled or electric piano but would have a grand piano faux cabinet built around it. Less tuning headaches, fewer roadies' backs giving out, etc.

I don't know how many of you have played an actual grand piano, or even play the piano at all, but there is no way a synthesized sound can come close to the grand I practiced on for 8 years. Normal, constructed pianos are generally much better than electronic ones.

Heh, the one I played on was so antique that it still had elephant-ivory piano keys. It was classic...
