I'm sure it has nothing to do with making it harder to smuggle in booze so they can make you pay $12 for a beer.

He hates these blankets?

We're looking into setting up a blanket rental area for a modest $50 per blanket per hour  the blankets are a spacious 900mm x 1200mm !  That's 4 digits they're very large blankets!

These are special blankets that unlike your blankets prevent people from leaving the area as well as fire and rescue coming in, because... blankets!

I'm glad it's finally time to talk about blanket control.

"So we want to make sure that people can exit the property in a quick fashion, and also that we have access into the property, in the event there's an emergency."

So people will trip over blankets, but they won't trip over the low beach chairs. That is just stupid. If they worried about it delaying people from getting in, they could do like Disney does. Have one entrance for those with bags and stuff and another for those not carrying anything. How hard is that?

Bend's Les Schwab Amphitheater, which bills itself as "Central Oregon's premier outdoor concert venue,"

And as Central Oregon goes, so goes Eastern Oregon and parts of Idaho.

Much like the "Hole in the Sheet" wear a poncho.

And if that doesn't work, get a parka.

That is the stupidest thing ever. If we really wanted to do something we would be removing the blankets from all nearby high-rise hotels.

If the shooting starts, crawl under it.  Make yourself even less of a target.  Best ever:  Get a blanket that has fake vomit and crushed plastic cups.  You'll blend right in with the grounds.

So they issued a blanket blanket control policy. Couldn't we just make sure there are good guys with blankets to stop the bad guys with blankets?

I know some venues have banned blankets do to people using them as trampoline type things.

That looks like a Duck and Cover drill.  Actually did those back in the 60's in elementary school.  Any good reason why they have an active shooter situation but they left the (assumed) locked classroom and laid down in the hallway covered with an yoga mat?

Security was so busy checking for blankets, they didn't see the 43-floor hotel I smuggled in.

It reminds me of when a cat or dog hides it's head under a blanket thinking it's hidden, but leave s the rest of their body sticking out.

When did we start referring to wubbies as "blankets"?

It's too soon to talk about blanket control...

Probably not enough room in the classroom, and the teacher didn't want to move all the desks over a drill.

It's never too soon. Remember the bowling green massacre and the situation in Nambia. It's going to be really hard to get out covfefe now.

A friend was telling me he went to an outdoor concert, I think he said it was Tool, and they were turning people away that were wearing camo pants or shorts. I own 2 pair and I have never shot anyone.

I'd be a little bit more concerned with some highly trained security guard moron looking for weekend work "patting down" every hot girl/guy they see, but hey that's just me.

An outdoor concert venue, banning blankets "for safety". And presumably selling them inside. If I lived near there, not only would I never buy a ticket there, I'd make sure that *everyone* knew, and push to boycott the venue.  That's the only way....

I own several camo items, have a small gun collection (as far as collectors go), and I've never shot anyone either.
