I'm not in any way advocating violence I'm just asking what alternative you have when the court system is setup to rule against you based on bigotry instead of the rule of law?

I think it's been pretty clear the "rule of law" is not considered to apply to the Republicans.  When the American Bar Association is considered a left wing organization, "common sense" is no longer in play either.

That was as far in the article as I got.
This administration is doing untold damage to the country, they are setting us back decades in the span of months.  It is actually kind of amazing if you think about it.

Why the hell are federal judgeships lifetime appointments anyway? What point does it serve other than entrenching a specific person for life to issue verdicts on cases with wide-reaching results?

I said it before, Trump failing legislatively doesn't matter when he can stack the courts with yes men who will interpret current law in his intended manner, anyhow.

A single judge set to rule against you based on bigotry instead of the rule of law does not necessarily mean the entire court system is setup to rule against you based on bigotry instead of the rule of law. However, appeals are expensive and time-consuming.

There's also the ordinary political process, in addition to its continuation by extraordinary means. Contrariwise, no matter which option you take in the scenario you describe, the most likely scenario is some value of "you lose". Nohow, continuing politics by extraordinary means risking extraordinary stakes.

We continue down this road and the government will hit a level where it's only purpose is to enslave the people and we'd be better off without.  I can't help but think that if we go GOP in 2020 again then we're done as a nation.

I completely understand the motive at the time, and maybe even the need.  But with this Senate and this President, Reid removing the filibuster on lower level judicial nominations is really coming back to bite us in the ass.

I can only hope  that FSM sees that McConnell gets the same feeling about removing it for SOCTUS nominees.

"Left Wing" now means the following. . .

Respect for the rule of law.
Respect for civil rights.
Respect for democratic process.
The idea that global warming is real and not a giant hoax (by the Chinese, scientists, liberals ect.)
The idea that people other than white heterosexual males should have any rights in our society.
The idea that Judges should rule based on the law and facts of the case instead of what their political party tells them to rule.
The idea that age of consent laws apply to Republican politicians.
The idea that religions other than Christianity should be allowed to legally exist in the US.
The idea that ending slavery was a good thing.
The idea that Donald Trump should NOT be our Eternal God Emperor
The idea that political parties other than the Republican Party should be allowed to exist in the US
The idea that any power source other than fossil fuels should be used
The idea that Donald Trump is not the greatest President in American history
The idea that anybody other than an America-hating, flag-burning, dog-kicking LIBERAL in any way disagrees with the Republican Party or any candidate or politician put forth by the party.

And this is exactly why Russian Roy will win: the conservatives in this country have convinced themselves that any stance or position held by a dem or liberal is anti-american and against God. There is no reasoning with a person that holds this stance or position. They literally view a potential pedophile as more acceptable than anyone who is considered a liberal.

No, what will happen is first, they'll fire Mueller for having conflicts of interest (he said nice things about Comey once). Then they'll investigate themselves and clear themselves of all wrongdoing.  Next, they'll produce a 400 page report basically saying Trump was just an out of control intern.  Finally, President Ryan will pardon everyone involved to help the nation move on.

Fin.

It's intended to free judges at that level from political pressure, enabling them to do whatever the fark they think is right.

Sometimes it even works, J.P. Stevens for example
