(KIRO-7 Seattle)   It's okay to hold your lighter in the air at a concert when Gun N' Roses plays your favorite song, but please don't do it on a plane that's trying to land   ( kiro7.com) divider line

I was at GnR/Metallica. There wasn't even any violence.

I was at that show! They played Sweet Child Mine, Welcome To Jungle & You Be Mine.

In all seriousness, I actually did see them in San Antonio back in September. They killed it.

Umm...don't remember many lighters on Appetite. 3 shows in 2 months between PHX and LA and it was the most insane shiat I'd ever seen--the intensity was, and is, still beyond anything I'd ever seen.

Music needs to evolve. Nobody listens to new stuff except pop and this is ruining music.

There might have been a cold November rain outside.

Outside of Jefferson Airplane and The Clash, no other band has started out so close to the top and fell so far.

Caught them in '91. Would have been the best show I ever saw if Axl Rose wasn't there.

The "huge rock band tour" has been dead for two decades. When you get the younger crowd to show up at the rare one now, all they do is take selfies and film it instead of actually watching it.

The ancient art of concert going has been lost.

Thread-jack:  What is with the idiotic auto-play live feeds now?  Not sure if it is only this site but this is not the first time I've been reading a story only to have some hack newsreader start telling me about the weather.

How did she manage to smuggle her own alcohol on the plane?

Saw GnR, and The Smashing Pumpkins opened for them (before they got big).  Pumpkins got booed off the stage.  OKC, I want to say around 1990.
