It took me a minute to realize try to make sense out of what a foot reduction would entail.

Well bias is definately the order for the day at NewsMax but I do remember a news report in Sacramento last year about a little girl who needed a kidney(I think) dying because she was bumped from the top of the organ recipients list because a murderer serving life was given priority over her. I think the report was on KFBK radio. If true, and I belive it is, everyone in CA should be outraged regardless of political affiliation.

BTW for those confused by the headline, have you ever heard the terms "foot the bill" or "footing the bill"? Sorta like "picking up the tab".

It would seem to me that letting the murderer die would not be playing favorites. If you are serving life for murder it should be your natural lifetime, not one kept going by heroic measures.
