He was probably clean when he was an NBA ref though, right?

Guess they better start guarding him when he gets off the bus.

Too many service workers are filing their "lifetime warranty" claims with Ecco for recently shiatty footwear.

Amazing what happens when you let a terriffic product fall to the peril of Wall Street.

Chuck Person's dad named him after Chuck Connors because he liked the show The Rifleman. His middle name is Connors.

As a Pacer fan who enjoyed watching him play, it saddens me that this is who Person now is.

Yeah, this. And I have the sneaking suspicion that this is the tip of the iceberg, and the more of these kinds of scenarios are going to play out in the coming months and years.

I've asked before and gotten no answer: Why was all of the attention on UofL when other coaches were being arrested? Why were Pitino and Jurich fired when neither the NCAA nor the FBI have leveled charges? Something stinks about that whole thing.

/Yes, I'm a UofL fan.

Yes, I would expect more low level minority coaches to be indicted while head coaches, ADs and apparel companies get off scott free.

In a just world (not this one), the entire NCAA is dismantled.  And I say that as an Indianapolis native that likes the NCAA HQ downtown.

i don't recall specifically what it was but when my wife (then GF) was a student athlete, i tried to buy her a plane ticket (or some shiat, i forget) and she couldn't accept it under NCAA rules.  i could buy her dinner and movie tickets and stupid shiat like that but there was something i offered and she had to check and the compliance folks were like NOPE.
