No, he's tied with two team mates.

No, that one's on the Lakers.

I'm sure there's a logical reason that UCLA is playing Georgia Tech in China.

He stole something from the Louis vittan store this isn't some minor grab and go

Given the cheapest thing in that store is probably $500 my guess is we are talking felony

Pretty sure if he doesn't spend 6 months in a labor camp that UCLA will dismiss his sorry ass

From the ESPN story:

LaVar was expected to address the media from his hotel suite Wednesday morning in Shanghai, but he said he was advised by legal counsel not to speak "due to the legal nature of the matter."

So what's the deal with basketball players all wearing shirts and tights under their uniforms - have they cranked up the AC in all the arenas? Do they have psoriasis?

Looks a little fat to be a ball handler.  But kids these days are fatter than they used to be.

I've never understood this.  Maybe it reduces the variability of your body motion?  I never wore a shirt underneath my jersey because I wanted a free range of motion, but maybe the point is actually to constrict it.  I don't know.

So will they Home school this one now, too?

Trump is landing in China today.  This issue will be on the agenda I reckon. If Trump saves 3 black kids from doing 3-10 years in Chinese prison for crimes they committed , while LaVar shouts like a madman in the background, heads will explode on both sides of the aisle. Pass the popcorn.

If the Chinese convict him, his fate is 3-10 years in Chinese prison. His future is more or less in the hands of Donald Trump's diplomatic skillset at this point.  This is nearly a perfect storm of idiots.

It's in TFA. China is serious about crime. Mostly because it's easier to control people. He could have spent 40 days before being charged. And China boats a 99.2% conviction rate. If they have it on video, he's farked.

First article posted last night said China could sentence him to 15 days in jail for petty theft

Then I saw this morning that they robbed a Louis Vuitton store

I really hope Trump doesn't chime in on this or be diplomatic to "save" him from conviction. It would show poorly on Americans as entitled biatches.

I'll have you know I was adorned in the finest polyester.  Really just a beautiful sheen to it.  And the stench was helpful in reducing defensive intensity against me.

That is typical yes. China is one of those odd places that doesnt fark around with thieves and ends up having very few petty thieves as a result

Absolutely not. I want to see the Ball family go all in for Trump when he saves their son. Big MAGA Baller Brand is coming your way.

International sports exposure and experience is very valuable, even if that value is to be a bad example for everyone else.

Tech just benched their top two scorers due to a potential NCAA violations investigation so this may end up being a 3 on 3 game if things continue like this.

They stole LV sunglasses, retail value around $900 a pair.  Lavar, mom and Lemelo are all in China to watch the game.

Please let this turn into a typical Lavar screaming match in the courtroom and send them all to a forced labor camp for 3 years?

They were probably knockoffs.

People should be required to take training before traveling abroad. Especially to communist or muslin countries. What they hell would make anyone think committing a crime in Farking China is a good idea?

So more of my tax dollars can go to help people from other countries come here and get a high tech education to take back home to compete with us rather than educating someone from here who may stay here and try to improve things.  Or turn into a cheeto.

They also have the support of the US State Department. It's going to be a slap on the wrist, nothing-to-see-here-folks type deal.

I have to wonder about the stereotypical Asian shopkeeper and their attitude towards Blacks coming into their store, and immediately jumping to the conclusion that they are only there to steal from them. Maybe that attitude is trans-Pacific in nature and played a part in the equation. Just something to think about.
