The non-timed, garbage touchdown in last night's game was a thing of betting beauty...Popping the over/under in that fashion will make or break a gamblers week.

Congrats to the 49ers on their first win this weekend.

Bell has rushed 92 times for 389 yards in Pittsburgh's three-game winning streak.

That seems sustainable.

SEA @ ARI for TNF is intriguing......I don't expect a whole lot out of ARI down the stretch but SEA looks surprisingly mortal, and the Rams appear legit.  If ARI can pull off what would be a pretty suprising upset, it could really make the West interesting.

Hawks favored by 5-5 to 6 so far.

If the Browns are winless when the face the Packers in December, bet the house on the Browns winning. Last night was one of the worst Packers teams i've seen since the pre Favre days

Okay. Holy crap. This... This MIGHT be the year you guys win the Super Bowl.

MIGHT be. You've probably got the Rams to contend with in the NFC this year. Good luck!

New England Patriots
Well, I hope you rested up during your Bye Week, because Sunday night you're getting your butts kicked by...

img.fark.net

... MOVING ON! >.>'

Pittsburgh Steelers
It's your Bye Week, and you follow that up with a trip to Indy next week. At this point, the AFC North is all but yours.

Minnesota Vikings
In one week's time, you shall rise from the Odinsleep to challenge Dan Snyder and his Basket of Deplorables. Hope you're ready.

Kansas City Chiefs
You guys stole the higlight reel with that Tyreek Hill brainfart TD and Kelce's "potato sack race" celebration, but you still lost in Dallas. Not a good note to go into your Bye Week on.

Make some adjustments, and you guys will be fine.

Seattle Seahawks
A shocking home loss to Washington, and you sede control of the NFC West to L.A. 2 costly picks by Russell Wilson, the ball seemingly refusing to cooperate with kicker Blair Walsh out of spite, and a Fail Mary with 4 seconds left sealed your fate.

No time to rest, though. You're traveling to Arizona Thursday to challenge the Cardinals. Try and get your s**t together, Seattle. :-(

Los Angeles Rams
img.fark.net

Rams vs Eagles for the NFC Championship. Book it. Done.

Dallas Cowboys
You won one for Romo. Good for you. :-)

Try not to faulter in the 4th next week in Hotlanta, like you did Sunday. Okay?

New Orleans Saints
Once again, Breesus delivers us from evil, this time in the form of a punk QB famous for stealing crab legs.

Glad to see Mike Evans get suspended for blindsiding Marshone Lattimore. That was a d*ck move. >:-(

Good luck in Buffalo next Sunday! :-)

Jacksonville Jaguars
img.fark.net

Congrats on the win, though. :P

Carolina Panthers
You played a solid game and took down a division foe at home. Very commendable.

I'm still posting this though. >.>

img.fark.net

Oakland/Vegas Raiders
Hell of a game Sunday night! A 44-yd TD reception by Johnny "Big Balls" Holton and another pair by Marshawn Lynch, and you guys are a win back from .500.

You guys earned your Bye Week. Good job. :-)

Washington [REDACTED]
You f**kers STOLE that win from Seattle, and you know it! CONFESS! >:O

I can't wait for the Vikings to kick your ass next Sunday. F**k you, Dan Snyder!

Tennessee Titans
Wow, you guys are strong contenders for the AFC South this year. QB Marcus Mariota threw 2 TDs and 1 pick. FS Kevin Byard made his 6th and 7th INTs in his last 5 games.

You almost blew it in the 4th Quarter, though. You can't keep doing that and expect to win games. :-(

All in all, you seem like a shoe-in for the Playoffs. Keep it up. :-)

Buffalo Bills
Here. I think you guys might need this.

img.fark.net

Four fumbles! FOUR! That includes a ridiculous brain-fart by TE Nick O'Leary.

Get your s**t together, before you embarrass yourselves against the Saints next week. >:-(

Detroit Lions
Matthew Stafford threw for 361 yds and 2 TDs with no picks, Matt Prater went 3-for-3 in Lambeau Field, and your team now stands at 4-4. What is your reward? You get a home game against the Cleveland Browns next Sunday.

Lucky b@stards. :-(

Atlanta Falcons
img.fark.net

Green Bay Packers
img.fark.net

A Rodger-less Packers season continues to tank along! Nothing will stand in its way of mowing down the hopes and dreams of the Green Bay faithful!

Los Angeles Chargers
You scumbags don't deserve a Bye Week. F**k you, Dean Spanos. >:-(

Baltimore Ravens
img.fark.net

Just... hurry up and go on your Bye Week already. :-(

THE DENVER BRONCOS!!!
img.fark.net

Your offense SUCKS! Your defense SUCKS! Your coaches should be burned at the stake!

It's game over, man! Game over! ;_;

New York Jets
Jesus Christ, where has THIS team been the last 3 weeks?! You thoroughly embarrassed the Bills, in your best showing since Week 3 against the Dolphins, and are now 1 game back from .500! O_O

Good luck in Tampa next week! You'll need it.

Arizona Cardinals
Jesus Christ, was was with all the fights on Sunday? Is this the NFL or the Gaza Strip? O_o

Good news is, you're back to .500 on the year, thanks to the efforts of your back-up QB Drew Stanton. You host your division-rival Seahawks Thursday night, giving you a chance to move into 2nd place in the NFC West.

Your season's not over yet. :-)

Houston Texans
img.fark.net

Your season wasn't supposed to end like this.

Not like this.

I'm so sorry for your loss. T_T

Cincinnati Bengals
img.fark.net

Dammit, Bengals! How many times do we have to go through this? You're supposed to BEAT your opponents, NOT beat them up! >:-(

Is it supposed to be progress that it's AJ Green, NOT Vontaze Burfect, that's assaulting players out there? Good grief.

Miami Dolphins
F**k, that one had to hurt! Jay Cutler, appearing to give a damn for once, throws for 311 yds and 3 TDs, and you STILL lost. Refs sure as s**t didn't help any. It WAS funny how Kiko Alonso sent Marshall Newhouse airborn to score that fumble, though. XD

You've got 8 days rest before you go to Carolina for Monday Night Football. Use it wisely.

Chicago Bears
img.fark.net

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Hey, Captain Crabs! Not cool setting up an opponent to get blindsided by one of you own guys, especially when you're supposed to be "injured"!

I hope you get embarrased next week by the Jets. >:-(

Indianapolis Colts
img.fark.net

You beat a critically-wounded Texans squad Sunday. Still, beggars can't be choosers, I guess. >_>

Good news is, Jacoby Brissett put up 308 passing yds and 2 TDs, en route to the club's 3rd win of the season.

Bad news is, you host the Steelers next week. That s**t is going to get ugly. :-(

New York Football Giants
img.fark.net

How bad are things for this Giants right now? HC Ben McAdoo can't even give them a bs inspirational Halftime speech! :-(

Think things can't get any worse? Rumor is McAdoo's looking to bench Eli Manning. 2-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning. Eli "Hasn't-Missed-A-Start-Since-2004" Manning.

Honest question: at what point do you guys think McAdoo considers human sacrifice as a viable option? >_>

San Francisco Santa Clara 49ers
img.fark.net

I feel for ya', Jimmy. I feel for ya'. :-(

Cleveland Browns
img.fark.net

See you guys next week! :-)

Why the fark are the vikings number 4!?
They lost to two good or decent teams (steelers and lions), and only beat crappy teams and the saints (before they got themselves in gear). Their schedule coming up is tough, it's entirely possible the lions and vikes could be playing for division lead on Thanksgiving.

/wished the lions would jump up a spot for winning convincingly at Lambeau but whatever

I feel like this Packers season is Wisconsin's punishment for, essentially, being the state that pushed Trump over the top.

Of course, for those of us who are rather disappointed about Walker gutting our educational system and essentially saying "Screw you" to Milwaukee with regards to its crumbling freeway infrastructure, along with the above fact, this is insult to injury to purgatory to seeing our once-progressive state take a sad turn.

But hey, the Bucks are good. If only I didn't hate the NBA. [sniff]

When Van Pelt started his postgame appearance with "so the game is over" with an emphasis on "over," I knew that's what he meant. That's like the 4th or 5th time a late score on MNF led to a betting comment by SVP after the game.

I think it's been firmly established that they make these rankings before Monday Night Football actually happens (hence Detroit falling this week), but that sentence is, I think, saying they've gone up a bit since preseason.

Tom Savage had 1 turnover. Brock, Eli, Wilson, and Flacco each had 2 turnovers. Turnovers are the only criteria for winning The Jake. Ties are settled by robsul82's own judgement. Tom Savage, not having enough turnovers; cannot win this week's horse's ass.

They are tied for the 2nd best record in the NFL?  Who are you going to slide above them?  Stumbling KC, a team with Blair Walsh as a kicker, or a team they've already beaten?  I could see the Rams there, but that is it.  Now, they could lay a stinker in the next couple of weeks, but these rankings are not forward looking.

Power rankings are based on current team strength not past performance correct?

In that case the Texans, Packers and Broncos should be falling like a rock

No quarterback in sight and suspect defence with so many injuries

Also I could not believe how many 4-4 NFC teams are still in the playoff hunt

Oh and screw Tampa Bay and the Giants just because

Seahawks do not belong in the top ten. They are playing to the level of their competition, not where they should be considering the personnel they have. Maybe they'll get hot down the stretch, but right now they should be rated middle of the pack.

ESPN rankings are based on keeping the Patriots as high as Snoop Dogg on a 3-day bender regardless of performance, and the rest of it is basically shaking team names in a Scrabble bag and drawing randomly.

I would put the Packers + Texans in the 26-27 spots, i'd still keep the Broncos ahead of the Jets and Cards because their defense and special teams will probably be able to put up a much better fight.

I am glad to see the Rams broke the top ten this, week. But Seattle still above them, that is not right. The Rams since their lost in Seattle have been hot, and absolutley destroyed NYG. Also as noted they said they have scored over 40 points in a game three times this year already. The offense is firing on all cylinders, and the defense is rock solid. They are NFC West favorites now.

Seattle, lost their game in terrible fashion, at home. The juggernauts have been humbled all year, and do not have the same invulnerability as when they were in the Super Bowl. They have lost some bad games, and gave up their division advantage. They are an average, or slightly above average team in the league this year. I would put them in the 15-10 range for power rankings.

Game was in Philly, not Denver.

Should probably still be him because he had a few throws that he was trying to get picked off, and the Eagles just couldn't come down with it, like one play where there were 3 Eagles all trying to make a pick that were closer than the receiver.

I think Robsul should declare the elusive Jake tie.  While neither Eli nor Brock lit up the Jake board, both of them were force fed 50-burgers. You just don't see that often, and when celebrating miserable failure both deserve the ass.

I don't know that the highway system is crumbling so much as it's just stuck in never-ending construction. Downtown is finally in a good spot, and the 41/94/894 quagmire really only gets bad with 41N coming from 94E.

As for the rankings, I'm just going to assume that the Chiefs are way too high. The D has become outright atrocious, and losing Conley has meant that Alex Smith only has one reliable third down option. It'll be another year of getting bounced by either the Steelers or Patriots in the playoffs.
