I have a GED in Star Trek astrophysics. I'm going to need an artist's rendition of the find before I comment.

The newly discovered planet, designated OGLE-2016-BLG-1190Lb

Yeah, we really need to start naming planets better.

FTFA: designated OGLE-2016-BLG-1190Lb

I'd have recommended an "ogle" reference in the headline. Talk about missed opportunities. Bulge, Ogle?

Not that hard to derive something from the scientific name.

I actually went and looked that up.  If you're gonna drop a Stargate reference, at least drop a planet they visited and not a random string of numbers.

Good episode.  Lot of serious emotion there.

But why use a 'real' reference, when it seems very likely that they never visited a planet like *that one*?  I know they opened wormholes to some pretty damn weird places, but can you point to any destination that matches the specs for this ... 'object', whateverthehell it is?
