Trump spewing lies about an opponent to his advantage? Why do people believe a single word that comes out of his chubby face?

I know that's a Bon Jovi song, but it's the Joe Jackson one that always comes to mind.

And nothing of value was lost.

And besides, as horrible as Buffalo Bills fans are, not even I would subject them to "It's My Life" or "Achy Breaky Heart" being played at every single game. That's just cruel.

Yeah, it was always going to be impossible to beat the bid of an actual multibillionaire who really, really wanted an NFL team in his wife's hometown and was willing to part with a substantial amount of his fortune to do so.  Bon Jovi and Trump couldn't have beaten Pegula to the Bills even if they'd been working together.

In other words, as usual, Trump's "great negotiation tactics" were a total waste of effort.

Umm, umm, well it's no surprise. Every rose has its thorns.

Dammit, wrong band!

/Trump's not gonna take it anymore?

As someone that lived in the area and was a Bills fan, I'm familiar with how bad it suddenly got.

For awhile bars and the like were playing Bon Jovi and celebrating him because he was going to save the team from moving to LA. Then seemingly overnight all of that changed, boycotts were arranged and strong ad campaigns sprung up all over the Buffalo/Rochester area.

Still glad he wasn't the one, because he had a deal with Rogers to have them play in Toronto a few times a year. Pegulas were the right choice.

Saw the beginning of last week's game. Jets thugs stood in locked arns, while most of the Bills stood up, hands over their hearts, during OUR national anthem. Buffalo Bills are a class act. I used to love the Jets, for 45 years. Fark em.

The NFL could have saved us from Donald Trump by just giving him the lowly Buffalo Bills (yes, they are 5-3 this year, hurrah to them, this was in 2014 though) to play with?

Now THERE is a reason to boycott the NFL.

It wouldn't be Trump's first astroturfing.

These people were all paid £20 an hour by Trump to protest on his behalf. He hates windmills. I'm not entirely sure why he has such a huge chip on his shoulder about them but I think it has something to do with the offshore wind farm and the view from his golf course in Aberdeenshire, the one that he lied to the Scottish Parliament to override Aberdeenshire Council's refusal to grant him planning permission.

Same one where he wants to build a wall because of "global warming" is gonna flood his course...

Is Nick Mangold still playing for the Jets? I used to work for his dad, Vern. Saw Nick and his sister roaming around the shop when they were toddlers every Saturday morning. And his great-uncle Greg was my road partner on service jobs. Spent many, many hours on planes and cars with him - awesome guy.

G.W. Bush wanted to be the commissioner of Major League Baseball. When he didn't get appointed / elected he sold the Rangers and went into politics.
