Still, that is brilliant.

"We hid them somewhere inside the breading of Popeye's chicken, and far away from Church's."

KFC had unwittingly revealed the spice/herb breakdown. A seemingly inconsequential piece of information but it's the last piece of the puzzle for me who has spent my lifetime uncovering the secret blend. At last I will uncover the secret recipe and rule the world! Ha ha ha ha ha!

Look at this, we secretly gave this raw chicken over to Popeye's, and they made it delicious.  We don't know how that happened, but f*ckin' sh*t, they gave us a whole goddamned biscuit and a side, we don't even know why people come to KFC anymore.  It's like that bucket, sh*t, we've got buckets you guys, buckets of fried chicken son.  F*ckin' A.  That's all we have going for us.  Did we mention we sent that one Zinger sandwich into outer space?  You should at least have one of those before you go to Popeye's.

I'm guessing at least 8 of them are various types of salt.

Where do they find these people who squee over corporate tweets?  Are they all on the KFC social media staff?

Cerebral Knievel: Salt, pepper, MSG, and a p pressure fryer

That would be correct.
I'm sure the original Colonel Sanders recipe probably did have 11 herbs and spices, but the corporate people trimmed it down to that for monetary reasons. They farked up his recipe for gravy and turned it into that brown water shiat that pretends to be gravy. That's what he said in an interview.

Even corporations can be clever in their communications. It's called "marketing" and this is a world class example.

I must say, well done KFC.

Worked at kfc in highschool. The ingredient the clone recipes always miss is nutmeg. You can pick it out in the pre-cook spice mix smell.

That's why I like Albertson's fried chicken. They have the right equipment on site.
