Is there a number, like a suidide-prevention hotline, for people at the end of their rope, who feel like they're on the edge of doing stupid s#!t like this?

Hello, thank you for calling the knucklehead prevention hotline, how may I help you?

Well... I'm thinking about tying my truck up to an ATM & driving down the street with it.

Ok, so you need money?

Yeah... I can't find work... the ATM thing sounds like it might work out... but I'm not sure.

Well sir, that's a dumb f*cking idea, thanks for calling. Don't do that, keep looking for work. Goodbye.

Um, ok, thanks. I'll keep trying, I guess.

/Bam!
//Saved another poor sap from a jail cell.
///He went on to become a doctor BTW, then volunteered his time as an operator on the same hotline that saved him.
////And the cycle continued as the world became a better place for all mankind.

We had people steal golf carts from the course I worked at. The police found one stuck near some railroad tracks. One of the thieves' wallet was in it. The other carts were on his property.

/ Never got any of the carts back. We leased them. The sheriff's department uses them during the county Fair.
