Here I am remembering the 2008 markets and how a Tulip Fever pushed oil near $150 a barrel. There mere whisper of a positive oil price forecast was enough to make it jump $4-7 a barrel. Are we doing it again so soon?

It's a zero-sum-game: a rising market says nothing about your positions.

I'd check the rest of Goldman's sheet before throwing a party.  AmEx (at least decades ago) lost billions trading currency.  But since they were the biggest currency trader, they were the goto company to change currency.  They made up their losses and an extra billion or so that way.
