Atlanta Police said the employees were fearful as soon as the man pulled the sharp blade

Each one of them were asked to step forward and ascertain the sharpness of the blade.  The reporters expressed hesitance about submitting such anecdotal evidence but were shouted down by the masses wanting any detail they could possible provide, as long as it was effective in establishing a more potentially dangerous situation than facts described.
