If I want skunky beer, I'll just grab a Corona.

You know what we really need are some more IPAs.  There's not nearly enough selection in that market.

I'm planning an IPA IPO.

I used to combine beer and pot in high school and university.  Invariably, I'd get the spins.

I wonder if I could patent something about IPAs, refuse to license the patent, and shut down all IPA brewing operations.  Then my local brewer would have no choice but to bring back my favorite lager.

I need to work on that.

I tried some of George Washington's Secret Stash. Pretty good stuff. Wish I'd bought a sixer when I could.

Yeah I think it would work really well on a flavor level.

Alcohol and caffeine are both already legal on their own.  But putting them in a single drink like Four Loko is illegal.

/If Alcohol and Caffeine were the combination killer some tout, where are all the deaths from Jack and Coke?

The THC would kick in just about the time the alcohol wore off.

In 2015 and 2016, Aurora, Colo.-based Dad & Dude's Breweria offered tastings of General Washington's Secret Stash, a cannabis-infused beer, at the Great American Beer Festival

That festival's going on now through  Saturday.  But its web site doesn't list the brewers who will be there.  Shiat.

Well, the Dad and the Dude won't be at the GABR this year, but not because the DEA and ATF quashed their CBD beer.

Where I lived in Minnesota 10-15 years ago there was a store that sold home brewing and hydroponic gardening supplies. I always thought it was an interesting niche they were trying to fill. Also figured I would pay cash for anything I ever bought there.

I'm not sure I see the point without the THC. Back when I was homebrewing, I had considered making a weed brew, but it was illegal and I was too poor to buy enough weed. I also wasn't entirely sure about how the chemistry would work.

You can graft hop vines to cannabis plants.  It's fairly easy to do with any basic grafting technique.  Makes an interesting way to hide your grow operation from a distance.

How would that help hide a grow?

It's very good at making me barf. And if I somehow didn't barf, I'd have a soul crippling hangover in the morning.

Best mountain dew ever:
-Pint of 160 proof moonshine
-1/8 of your favorite smoke
- couple of nice sprigs of peppermint or spearmint

Combine all in the jar. Remove mint sprigs after a day. After ten days you can filter out the smoke. Or just leave it in there, doesn't hurt anything.  Just one shot at a time, wait 15 minutes between so you dont overdo it.
Enjoy!

If you add weed it isn't beer any longer.

Reinheitsgebot:  Water, barley, hops.  That's it .

It's pretty much the only way I've ever used MJ. I was never a smoker of it, but we'd go to parties in college where the smoke was so thick you couldn't see across the room. I'd just happily drink me shiatty college beer and get a contact high. I rather enjoyed it.

The way I've read that it works is that since THC is soluble in alcohol you need to soak the weed in a neutral tasting alcohol like moonshine or grain alcohol for at least a few weeks so that the THC is absorbed.  Some of the descriptions i've read say you might need  to apply heat as well.  Then you brew your beer as you would, and before bottling, you just mix in the THC soaked booze to your beer.  This will add a little bit more ABV to your brew, and it's why you want something that's flavor neutral (unless I suppose you want to add a bit of a bourbon or rum character to it).

 Thats making a tincture..
You can also treat the weed as a dry hop in secondary fermintation..

You wouldn't use it in the boil.

Can you find the pot plant in this hop field?  The hope vines are probably around 20-25' tall.
