Mugato: lindalouwho: Right or wrong, a boatload of films were delayed or edited after 9/11.
This delay won't hurt anyone. I can't fault them for their sensitivity.

Yeah, I can. The Punisher might be a bit off his rocker but he only kills criminals and is only a little crazier than Batman who killed people in the Burton films and has machine guns and rockets on his car.

Pretty sure it's more about the wide variety of guns involved in both things, and what those guns do.
But, you are entitled to your opinion.

I love me some Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright.

Nick Frost is a treasure.

Speaking of Batman, so he doesn't kill except in the Burton films (he sort of killed Qui Gon by not saving him), he does beat the shiat out of them. What if a criminal had a heart attack or an aneurysm or something? And three year olds dress like Batman on Halloween.

There's a line in The graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns where Batman thinks about all the people he killed by letting The Joker live.

The point is stop doing meaningless gestures every time something like this happens. It makes us all look like dipshiats and it's not fair to the dozens of people who work on these projects.

If you have to boycott something, which you don't aim your misguided ire at the new Friday the 13th game coming out. That looks farked up,

Mr Sloane should've gotten a second season, but the show was so perfect as a one and done.

The most offensive thing about that turd was just how bad it was. Alternatively, if you want a movie with the protagonist going on a killing spree, God Bless America is actually decent.

Understandable but still disappointing. I was looking forward to this.

Well, it was one of Uwe Bowells tax dodge movies. It was not supposed to make money.

Rocketboy1313: You guys seem to be under the impression that they don't want to encourage gun violence and are bringing up how "GTA doesn't cause crime" or "Watching Batman doesn't make me jump on roof tops dressed as a bat".

HEY IDIOTS, it is not about ENCOURAGING violence.  They just know that a hero based around gun violence is not going to be palatable after real gun violence has left such a bad taste in everyone's mouths.

In much the same way you might not want to watch a movie about a plane crash after seeing a plane crash on the news.  IT SUCKS THE FUN OUT.

Your world seems fun but here in America, the average person not personally affected by these types of events post a few "thoughts and prayers", may have a moment of silence or two, then they quickly move on.

For proof, see the after effects of every other mass shooting that happened before the most recent mass shooting. That's why nothing changes. That and elected officials make policy based the amount of money streaming into their wallets and where the money if streaming from. Not for the benefit of the country.

Why would they push it back?  This is clearly the farking American dream!   I mean, it must be, right?  Because if it weren't so then there would be some reasonable constraint in place to make it harder to just go out and get a hundred guns and murder dozens and dozens of people.  And, since no steps have pretty much EVER been taken, and the populace has never stood up to their elected representatives and MADE them make a change, then everybody is clearly alright with it.

I mean, look at Australia -- they didn't like it happening so they stopped it from happening.  Period.  Done.
The US clearly wants it to keep happening.

That will be out next month. Saw the trailer last night
Sweet.  I hope it's good.

Sequel, but it's been around for a while.
