But if there actually were UFOs hovering overhead during the shooting, you wanna see that video.

2017-10-05 11:39:50 AM
I waded into that pool yesterday.

Apparently the consensus seems to be a second shooter on the 4th floor--despite no broken glass on said floor, and based on flashing lights over a LOT of reflective surfaces. Obviously the 4th floor is a far better angle to shoot people from, than say 30 stories further up, and the 4th floor room they point to is positioned to hit pretty much the back of the stage. Super planned.

Yes, these are some keen eyed observers.

There are also those who think that there were shooters from across the way, from the second hotel, from the roof. And no one in law enforcement is talking about that, because...reasons.

Of course, Paddock was also the fall guy. Obviously. Because the Deep State wants to undermine President Trump. And the FBI is IN on it. And so was the Vegas PD, because they ordered responders to NOT expose themselves to a hail of fire.

And then of course, there are the "tactical experts" who marvel that a high stakes gambler and numbers geek without a military background didn't prepare and take up better position.

The supposition and leaps in logic are impressive.

To be entirely fair, many if not all of these conspiracy theories actually seem very logical and rationally justified if you happen to be extremely stupid.

Honestly, I think it just turns out that real-life is a videogame, so while these events may not be "conspiracies" in the traditional sense, they're effectively conspiracies in that they have been programmed into the game as possible outcomes and their creators do nothing to stop them.

I'd ask what you all think about this, but none of you are real, anyway.

I think Facebook is even worse with this.   After the election, and shortly after this shooting, I started to see some of my "friends" in a new light, based purely on the comments they made on posts I would otherwise never have seen.

I honestly didn't know how many of my friends are idiots before that.

Not only the lack of broken glass on the 4th floor, but there's a video of the same flashing light in that window from before the shooting started.

I can't tell you how many people's comments I read that knew there were two guns because they were convinced that the only sound you SHOULD hear is the bang of the gun, and if you think that way, I can understand why it would seem like more than one gun firing.

This even after it was pointed out that the bullet travels quite a bit faster than sound, and as it passes nearby you'll hear a sound that comes from the bullet before you hear the sound that comes from the gun.   Also the sounds echoing off of other buildings, etc.   Nope.  Two guns.

I get that people can draw incorrect conclusions based on ignorance of how things work, but I do not understand why they maintain their original conclusion even when given more information that should, at least, give them a reason to maybe reconsider.   Willful ignorance is a scary thing.

OHMAHGOD, is it ever.

My cousin posted a comical Live Leak video that CONFIRMS that there was another shooter on the ground.

It's so ridiculous that it almost watches like a comedy sketch or cartoon.

Right at the part that you're supposed to 'see it' is exactly the same moment the camera goes awry and jerks around all over the place. They're attributing a flash of light as the evidence...when it could easily be light exposed after panicking victims suddenly move out of it or even the motion of the camera (phone) as the angles bluster around.

But to my cousin, it is evidence that supports the other claim that eye-witness accounts CONFIRM 7 shooters. I am not making this up.

/Shooter on ground confirmation
//Eye witness confirmation of 7 shooters total

The growth of conspiracy theories is a necessary part of the Information Age, as there has to be those who test the boundaries of the newer technologies and attempt ways to exploit them.  What we need to remember is that the Internet and social media and the general free-flow of information makes it a hundred times harder for governments and businesses to simply cover up wrongdoings.

To truly make a proper conspiracy theory, you must both believe that the oppressor is both so clever that they can bring up so many resources to bear that they can avoid all consequences and that they are so stupid that they would leave behind so many loose ends for others to unravel.  In short, you have to think the group conspiring is both stupidly corrupt and fiendishly clever.

It's a contradiction in terms.

Think for yourselves, schmucks.

Things I've seen on facebook coming out of youtube videos

"LOOK! FLASHES ON THE FOURTH FLOOR! HE WAS THERE NOT WAY UP WHERE THE BROKEN WINDOWS SUGGEST!"

Response: It's a farking window reflecting lights. If there was a shooter on the 4th floor THE WINDOWS WOULD CEASE EXISTING! It's not like there aren't a billion reasons for flashing lights to be reflecting off a window in Vegas. x2 during an emergency.

"Then why aren't there flashes spotted from the window he supposedly shot from"

Response: Because a guy who can afford 33 rifles over a 1 year period, and bump stocks for a lot of them, could probably also afford this thing called a flash hider. It would make it considerably more difficult to visually spot him, even at night.

"But there's no way that was a bump stock my military friend from the coast guard says it has to be belt fed"

Response: Really? Have you actually listened to the videos? You can hear clear breaks in the fire, it's not fully sustained at all times. It very well could be a bump stock with a 100rnd magpul magazine.

"There's absolutely NO WAY he could have rigged all those security cams up without someone noticing, hotels are UBER SECURE!"

Response: Hotel CASINOS are uber secure. With the sheer amount of people on location at a place like Mandalay bay, and the fact that many of them are in the casino, hotel security is more focused on casino patrons and securing their money. They could give 2 shiats less about what's going on in the actual hotel part unless they were notified of something like smoke, a potentially dangerous situation, or a noise complaint.

"Yea but he can't have possibly got all those guns in the room without someone noticing."

Response: Do you really think he was just walking in with exposed firearms for the world to see? Break the weapons down, store them in regular looking suit cases, and you can probably get 11 rifles into your hotel room inside the same amount of suit cases a person would bring for a week long trip in Vegas. Considering most of the rifles they have shown thus far are AR variants, they break down into small easily concealed parts if you know how to strip the weapon (which is really easy). All the hotel sees is baggage, that's it.

"But he can't have done it alone! That's too much for such an old guy!!!"

Response: Weapons are not THAT heavy, but all he would have to do is ask the bellhop to get his baggage. Considering his high roller status in a lot of Vegas locations, they aren't going to question a single thing the guy wants to do since they expect him to spend asstons of money.

"The guy had no training though there's no way he could have done that much damage!!"

Response: Actually if he had been trained the fallout would have been significantly worse. You don't have to be a navy seal to spray into a large, condensed, crowd. Had he actually been trained the accuracy of his shots would have greatly increased leading to significantly more damage in the end.

It's blowing my mind the idiocy of the theories circulating on this one. I will never understand why it's so hard to believe any mass shooting perpetrated by a white guy is exactly what law enforcement says it is. If the shooter was muslim nobody would question the official story. But since this guy was older, seemingly well off, and white we can't believe he'd be capable of this without JFK-esque theories of other shooters and gov involvement.

I find that the FBI can't possibly be trusted to investigate this mess the incredible part. The ONLY people who can be trusted have access to sh*tty cell phone videos and the radio chatter from dispatch as their BEST sources of information, and anyone who was ON scene--other than the witnesses who were getting shot at or witnessed it from a safe distance--can't be trusted, and physical evidence only PROVES there is a cover up.

Don't get me wrong: not all the details are going to be released. Because IF the FBI thinks that he had help--I mean besides one of the Malheur Standoff idiots selling Mr. Manny a gun or two--then they're going to keep things quiet as they try to find out just what in the Hells this was really all about. But damnation people: it's an investigation. The idea is get facts first, THEN publish them, and most of them not until the trial.

I don't think it's so much a cover-up as it is a hesitation to release details into the man's motives. He's already under suspicion of being linked to Antifa because of his choice of target. Maybe they're worried about the possible fallout... maybe they're worried some loon on the other end of the spectrum will retaliate. Maybe they're worried way more than one person on the other end will retaliate... who knows.

All I know is that this country is snowballing and too many people are too willing to fight without doing anything to help solve the problem through democracy and compromise.

*tips hat* I've been combating the stupidity on my own facebook timeline, and I'm honestly getting fed up with it. There are more important things to talk about than asinine conspiracies based on iffy "witness" reports and shaky videos. Possible motives, people who assisted him in accomplishing this, and how to prevent it going forward being three.

Honestly I think this conspiracy nonsense is a deflection tactic to drown out conversations about prevention. Mainly because proponents of said theories know prevention means talking about gun control, and we're just not allowed to do that in the US.

The internet was a beautiful place when it was behind a knowledge barrier.  Sure, there were always threats like AOL or WebTV, but those could be mitigated by redirecting the "Enter" link to TVGuide.com.

Rupert Murdoch ruined all that with MySpace.  His name will feature prominently in any objective analysis into the decline of American Supremacy.  Hundreds of years from now the survivors of the coming great war will ask how it was that a foreigner was allowed to run callous active measures against the entire population when so many of narratives he pushed we not just untrue, but crafted to undermine the safety of the people and the authority of a democratically elected state.

They'll say we were craven; they'll say we were greedy; they'll say we got what we deserved.

Not saying that isn't possible, we don't know enough to say for sure, but evidence has come out suggesting he originally targeted Life is Beautiful festival.. Which is not exactly a likely antifa target. I'm betting he planned this around a timeframe he know many large outdoor gatherings were going on, scouted as many as he could, and picked the one that was the lowest hanging fruit.

People swore there had to be multiple shooters at the Pulse nightclub shooting.

Great_Milenko: hubiestubert: I waded into that pool yesterday.

Apparently the consensus seems to be a second shooter on the 4th floor--despite no broken glass on said floor,

Does Mandalay Bay even have guest rooms on the fourth floor?  Aren't the lowest floors always full of restaurants, bars, conference rooms, business offices, fitness centers, and the like?  Hell some of these place have lobbies with ceilings that high.

Usual floor plan for a casino is floors 1-3 restaurants, bars, conference rooms, business offices, pools, amusement parks, etc.  Floor 4 CIA, FBI, NSA, NWO, Bilderberg Group conference rooms.  Floor 5-XXX sheeple quarters.

Harry Wagstaff: People swore there had to be multiple shooters at the Pulse nightclub shooting.

Yea I remember that. Seems they always do. Almost like guns are loud, the sound echos off everything around you, and it starts sounding like there's shooting all around. It's a really simple, and easily observed, concept that people forget about in the panic of an event like this (understandably so). But when you bring this up people think you're crazy for not believing their unverified conspiracy that has mountains of proof to the contrary, because a shakey youtube video possibly caught a reflection.
