Sid_6.7: Mark Hamill: the definite Joker as far as I'm concerned. Batman: The Animated Series is one of the best animated shows of all time. Hamill as the Joker, Ron Perlman as Clayface, and DAVID F*CKING WARNER as Ra's al Ghul. How can you go wrong?
Sid_6.7: Jack Nicholson as himself as the Joker. Enough said?
Jim_Callahan: Also, Ledger's Joker wasn't a Nihilist, he was an anarchist. He had a specific objection to the social contract as a whole and felt strongly that things would be improved by tearing it down, sort of a reverse-Leviathan Hobbes thing where the ideal is for every individual to submit to their basest nature. Nihilism kind of necessarily precludes things having strongly different inherent moral values like that.
