If there's one thing that's been made abundantly clear over the last year and a half it's that Paul Manafort should hang.  And he should be followed closely by a few others who worked with him whom I will not name at present.  Of course, all of this should occur after fair and public trials.  I hope those can start soon.

The petition alleges that when Deripaska asked for an accounting of the investment in 2013, Manafort simply didn't respond. "It appears that Paul Manafort and [his deputy] Rick Gates have simply disappeared," the Russian oligarch's lawyers wrote.

Is there a saying in English equivalent to "ladrón que roba a ladron tiene cien años de perdón" (thief who robs a thief gets a century of reprieve). I'm hoping there isn't because this farker belongs in jail.

So Manafort worked for Trump for free. He took no salary. He ran the campaign.

How did they meet? How did he get the volunteer position?

At the end of all this.

Donald and his clan and hangers on will all walk away from this, never serving any jail time, never even being held in custody... they will never pay a fine bigger then what could be found in their couch. There will be no consequences that that his money and now power will not protect him from.

His money and wealthy will always insulate and protect him.

One law for us, none for them.

It's not suspicious at all that Paul Manafort, massively in debt, took the top job in the Trump campaign but did not draw a salary.

The trials this crime demands don't happen unless Republicans abandon their collective 5th Column Misprison.

Treason doesn't bother them, as long as it lines their pockets.

Reagan was a regular George Washington compared to what's in the White House now.

I don't think it works that way. I can't admit to killing Jon Bennet Ramsay and the investigators go "well then case closed"

And this is a tad more important

Agreed.  Doesn't look like he has much choice at this point.  Hopefully, he'll opt for the safety of prison only to be poisoned on his fist day out after serving a long sentence.

It will be state pmita prison: Trump will pardon Manafort and Flynn because he swears up and down there are good people who are victims of liberals criminalizing political action.

It became OK when Nixon prolonged the Vietnam War for political gain. It became standard GOP policy when Reagan farked over American hostages to win against Carter.

Republicans are enemies of America. Why shouldn't they work with others?

He still might today.  If a new political party were to emerge with a plan to try multiple former members of Congress for Treason and violations of the Espionage Act and put forth a 50 States voting plan laser focused on making the delivery of accountability a certainty, it might be wildly popular, particularly if the Democrats got on board.

Are you sure? That's not too very far from precisely what war criminal Oliver North did to protect the rest of the Reagan administration.
