ecmoRandomNumbers: It's failed because you can't fit that much material (relevant material, mind you) into a film that people will sit through. It would have to be a mini-series and it would have to have a good soundtrack and great acting. I've seen a couple in Spanish and one from some other (Russian?) production. They were all crap.

And I swear to Christ, if the English translation calls Panza's donkey "Dapple," I'll cut a b*tch.

No, you won't.

realmolo: Gilliam...I don't know.

No one else makes movies like he does. And what he does is amazing. But I don't know if I've every really enjoyed any of his movies that much. They're neat to look at, and the weirdness is appealing, but they they're all pretty boring.

Tr0mBoNe: I assume it'll be great for Gilliam fans and completely invisible to everyone else. Will this one see more than 1000 theaters?

It will be as big as Yoga Hosers

Maybe this is the corrective for the anarchy wrought by the Cubs winning the series in 2016. That hell mouth needs to be closed.
