He emphasizes every dickish thing he does with a weekend of golf.  He emphasizes his non-dickish behavior by playing golf too.

The only things he concentrates on for more than three minutes straight, other than Ivanka's assets...are Twitter comments about himself and golf.

Tropical Storm Cindy, the third thus far in 2017, formed in the Gulf off the Louisiana coastline on the same day. It's the first such storm this year to threaten U.S. shores. Rain will be heavy

Um, I can't find a date on TFA but it doesn't read as anything recent.

Donald Trump doesn't care about black people. Or any people who are not white and blood relatives, really. Where's Kanye the one time we actually need him?

Or that he would use it as an opportunity to do what his base elected him to do---tell "nasty women" who talk out of turn to shove their complaints up their bleeding whatevers, no matter how justified they might be.

It took him five days to even acknowledge the PR crisis. He didn't need nearly that long to accuse Carmen Yulin Cruz of being a stooge of mainland Democrats and sabotaging relief efforts to make him look bad.

In Redcap World, after all, women are the main reason men can't have nice things.

First word that comes to my mind is "selfish".

Everything is about him. Everything. Just off the top of my head, a few recent examples. Does anyone think Trump cared about Price's travel budget? Not until it was revealed that the White House approved all travel. Suddenly it looked bad on Trump, so seeya later, Price. Does Trump really care if NFL players kneel? No, but it brings him attention and draws attention away from things that make him look bad. Does Trump think meddling with a US election by a foreign power is a big deal? Not if it benefited him personally. Hell, does anyone really believe he ran for president to make the US a more perfect union, rather than to increase his personal thumbprint on US culture/business, only to actually win?

He's a selfish prick.

Even the GOP won't benefit from footdragging on PR. More mass migration from PR to the mainland means more votes for Democrats in 2018 and 2020.

But, once the browns are persuaded to move on, the Trump Organization will get the chance to pick up lots dirt cheap on which to build Trump-branded resorts and pieds-à-terre on US soil for well-heeled central Asians.

The opportunity to tell the nasty woman serving as San Juan's mayor to shove her complaints up her bleeding whatever is just the icing on the cake.

First word that comes to mind? Sociopathic.

Second? Evil.

This is a man who has never had to pay any consequences for his actions. A man who used money and his connections to get his way. He then used his immaturity and bigoted world view to win the presidency and here we are. A man who uses Twitter to engage in 120 character wars and insult-a-thons. Who is undermining healthcare for millions, and then brags about it.

But hey, party like it's the end of the world, right?

Not likely, cholera is from unsafe food or water. Yellow fever is certain mosquitos, I think it's been a few years since there's been a case in the US.

Cholera is a water borne disease - to be more precise it's fecal-oral, it would depend on whether water supplies there are treated properly or if infected people work in food service.

The yellow fever mosquitoes are rampant in Florida, so it wouldn't exactly be difficult for it to end up in play in Florida again, just like dengue is now. You just need people with yellow fever to end up in Florida and get bit by mosquitoes.

People that Trump attacks/denounces without hesitation:
Americans on an island that was destroyed by a hurricane.
Anti-fascist protesters
Football players who kneel during the anthem
Anyone who criticizes him for anything.

People that Trump had to be pushed to even SORTA condemn, if he ever even bothered:
Vladimir Putin
David Duke and other white supremacists/neo-Nazis.

A sage told me during the reign of George the W, that Bush was true to his own group.  Anything different would be a sign of insanity is his part.

So with Trump.  He is what he is and always has been.  Enough people supported him to be a candidate and give him to the voters and now they want to reap the rewards of their behind the scene efforts.

Americans, viewing the product these friends of his have presented us, will make sure they do get rewarded for their efforts.  Even if they are too shy to claim their work.

I am still of the mind that, while I didn't agree with most of what he did, he was mostly kind of dim, but well-meaning - certainly not actively malicious. In a bit over his head? Absolutely. But comparing him and Trump, he seems like a true statesman.

I mean, one of the high points of his administration was right after the attacks on 9/11/2001, he tried to remind the country to not get into a frenzy over Muslims, and to treat all people well in those trying times.  He kind of botched that goodwill with the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, but... can you imagine Trump giving a speech reminding people to keep their heads and treat people well and with respect... for any reason, ever?
