Yea, Stein was always in it. Her job was to slam Hillary and siphon votes away from Hillary to her. In the unlikelihood that Trump won, her job was to call for recounts to solidify his win, since he spent the entire campaign saying the election was rigged.

Before the primaries, we were approached by a canvasser getting signatures to put Jill Stein on the KY ballot. Of course I signed, I think more people participating is good.

But then he asked if Jill could count on my vote, and I laughed in his face.

It's sad because a lot of Fark libs gave a lot of money to Jill to find that recall effort.

Sucks, a lot of us just bought Putin a new rec room.

I make it a point to only vote for parties that actually have congressional representation...or state representation...or anything beyond some narcissist who wants to be president for reasons that boil down to "because then I can change things". No, the only thing you can do is break things, we're seeing that now.

Want to be taken seriously? Form a ground game. Win local races. Do the hard work. The presidency is not magical.

Probably the best return on investment per ruble that Russia ever spent.

Some were Hillary supporters who thought the recount might shift the election.

That Hillary Clinton just isn't likable. I mean...Vlad supported literally everyone else but her - why is that? Certainly not because she was the only one of the bunch to ever stand up to him, right?

RIGHT?!?!

More 2016 election strategy happened in that meeting than in Trump's whole campaign.

All. Of. This.

I will vote third-party-weirdo all day long for my local races.  That's where radical ideas have the most impact and radical candidates can shift the debate most easily.  But at the national level?  I demand real policy and effective execution.

If you are going to try and rig the election of your greatest geopolitical rival, you can't really half ass it because the consequences of failing and getting caught are too high. But since they won, it no longer matters whether they get caught since every lever of power in the country is now under direct Russian influence

Dawsey reported that the Stein ad he saw was placed late in the campaign and played upon some liberals' belief that Clinton is too hawkish and would lead the U.S. into war with Iran.

My wife has gotten annoyed at me bc I have signed some of those petitions for people I would never dream of voting for. My philosophy is though that if you are willing to do the footwork to get the petition signatures, you deserve to be on the ballot.

From a story in Financial times: The Silicon Valley company has been engulfed in a political storm over Moscow's use of social media to meddle in last year's US election after revealing this month that Russian actors had spent at least $100,000 on roughly 3,000 ads posted on the site between June 2015 and May 2017.

And here is what was spent by the major parties (WaPo):

I don't know about you, but those damned Russians are freaking election GENIUSES! If I run for office, I'm going to go through my couch cushions for loose change, and hire the Russian government.

Is an actual false flag, is also trying to rile up the Alt-right against the dreaded SJWs. It goes into full parody caricature of a 'leftist' to confirm all the horrible tales about them. Drive the white teen boys straight into the arms of the Alt-right.

But like...does it have something to do with players taking a knee? Or the recent attention paid to player safety making the game less violent? Because there are two LA franchises? I just...I don't get it.

Charletron: Why would boston antifa be posting shiat in from Russia?

I know that "False Flag" is a phrase that Alex Jones squeals out every time he touches his singular, withered, nematode infected testicle, but ladies and gentlemen, this is genuinely what a False Flag operation looks like.

Notice how the picture that Badmoonman posted is a trolly "Cultural Shift" picture, which is designed to enrage white culture warrior types against the dyed-hair millennial women of "Antifa". The truth is, both sets of fans could be NFL fans, and both sets could be Anti-Fascists.

Everything any paid Russian troll does online is meant to be divisive, and they usually accomplish this in very subtle, psychological ways.

The idea is that the NFL is too liberal with tolerating players taking the knee.  Apparently an extension of this is to alienate hardcore football fans by stating they're accommodating liberals by having gluten-free options at the stadium.

...which is ironic because my old boss, who was a flaming racist GOP-supporting right-wing asshole had Celiac disease and constantly biatched about not being able to find places to eat at our office near Boston.
