(New Musical Express)   Shockingly, The Prophets of Rage don't care for Trump. They believe he may possibly be racist and also even, if you can believe it, kinda dumb. Not only that, but a bit of a narcissistic jerk-off. Well, they are the Prophets of Rage   ( nme.com) divider line

Be relevant. Buy our music.

That sounds like it's measured on a British scale of rage, which would make them "Prophets of Irritability," or "Prophets of the Well-Miffed."

/Bollocks to that, I should say I am not particularly inclined to heed your directive, sir.

Or, I could re-read the piece. My bad. Carry on.

Irregardless, they make good music. "Hail to the Chief" should be the Super Bowl halftime show.

Dhusk: Prophets of Rage vs. Profiting From Rage.

Doesn't sound like genuine "kind sir could you please return to hotel I forgot to rebelliously trash room as per usual" "gnomes wrestling ballads" rage at all

Contrabulous Flabtraption: But musicians usually love Republican presidents! This is shocking.

It's true.  Zack de la Roacha and his friend Sean Penn are frequent contributors for the Heritage Foundation.  Michael Stipe votes straight-ticket Republican, and is a known supporter of the NRA and many Pro-Life charities.  Also, I just learned that Adam Yauch, shortly before he passed, became a board member of the Family Research Council.

Dear Artists:

Be angry or make money. Not both or you will anger elderly farkers.

Same rule applies to athletes.

Really digging this album. Needs more B-Real, less Chuck D maybe.

Thanks subby, I thought hard rock was dead. The kids will never like this tho :(

They must be crazy.  I've been told repeatedly that it's impossible to dislike the great Philosopher-King Donald J. Trump.

Their album is OK, it's not bad, but after listening to it, it's not really worth repeated listening.

Are you a part of their PR team? From 2003? Most people are trying to forget rap rock existed but to each their own.

Saw Prophets in concert. Brought back good memories, but Rage Against the Machine they are not. Chuck D seemed to struggle a lot more than I had anticipated on stage.
