We encouraged Congress to oversee ethics and open government in February. It's not too late for our elected representatives in DC to do so as fall begins, if this White House continues to fail Government Ethics 101. Winter is coming.

Yeah, I think I'm just going to resign myself to being a wight.

Once again, and I know I'm repeating myself here on Fark, but Republicans care more about party than our country.

The Republican Congress continues to let Trump plunder our Treasury, ignore our Constitution and rake in money from foreign powers and organizations.

The GOP is letting our Republic become a plutocracy. They and their heirs may regret their actions today.

What is the statute of limitations for emoluments? Just because it isn't enforced now doesn't mean it can't be enforced later?

At least he's using his grifted money for personal gain instead of putting it into a well-renowned charity that helps people all over the world, because that would be terrible.

Oh, I see. Erdogan and his goons are allowed in the US and given free reign to pummel our citizens so the dickweed can line his pockets. Makes sense.

Okay, what about the "humans" that came charging at the, as you say, "wights"?  Do they have any semblance of guilt?  Let me ask you this: what about the fact that they came charging with valyrian in their hands, swinging swords?  Do they have any problem?  I think they do.  You had a group on the other side that came charging in, without a permit, and they kidnapped a guy!  Very, very violent!

This is a fairly big event, and was probably booked well ahead of Trump being elected. I'm not a Trump supporter, but just because this looks bad, that's no excuse to pretend you don't know anything about golf.

When you're elected president, you can say: "Sorry, but in my new position I can't do private business with a company owned by a foreign government, so here's your deposit back, and here's a list of other venues I can recommend."
