When the most popular NASCAR driver supports this, you know it's pretty damn wide-ranging:

Hardy-r-r: Let's all pray he can get back up

A 5'1" neighbor of mine once sat next to him on a plane.  "I thought he would never stop standing up!"

I was going to comment that it probably took him 45 minutes to stand all the way back up. That age/height/sport-induced knee damage has to make a hell of a combo to do that.

Oh, and on topic: that's a great photo.

That's it, I'm boycotting all classic Celtics game on the NBA network.  Yes, that includes the weekly reruns of the Bird/Magic rivalry games.  And the Dee Brown era.  That'll teach 'em.

The kneeling thing is overdone now. We modern folks can only care about things for so long.

I am lucky to have been able to see Bill Russell play against Wilt Chamberlain many times in LA. My father and uncle were both from Boston, so they sided with the Celtics, not the home team. What did I learn? Bill Russell was the consummate team player. His play helped every other Celtic to step up their game.

Maybe Donald Trump is too old to connect with today's players? If so, President Trump should be able to understand that he and Bill Russell are on the same team. And as usual, Bill Russell is feeding his teammate the ball.

Trump needs to understand our country is 110% fed up with unchecked police brutality against Americans. Kneeling is just a peaceful protest against that brutality. Somebody (maybe Bill Russell) can get through to Trump that police brutality is the problem, not professional athletes.

Is George Mikan still alive?  Seems more like his kind of guy.

What's the deal with Reading? I had relatives there in the 60s and 70s. Didn't seem that bad. I mean, other than being in Massachusetts.

Well apparently they made Bill Russell's life a living hell back in the day, is the point we're getting to in this particular thread. I just think it's a boring nothingville.
