How else can you get married while you get new tires?

What's the warranty on the marriage, and when they get a divorce, can they just return it?

Re CostCo: I can understand buying things in bulk, the point being that you only have to shop on rare occasions.  Most of these people end up with mini-warehouses of food and crap they'll never use because it was a 'deal'.

That's the rest-of-the-world way to spell that. It's only spelled TIRE instead of TYRE and CENTER instead of CENTRE in the US.

Everyone's missing the real star of the article: the bulgogi bakes.

/seriously, why don't American Costcos have them in the food court?

I hate those free samples. They are in the way. Little snowflakes are always in the way.

That hasn't been remotely true for years. Lots of their products are geared towards average family use. I am single and I shop there regularly. Last trip I bought.
socks
gum
flood lights
10 lbs. of brown rice
Fage yogurt
2.5 lbs of coffee
Cheerios
Oreo cookies
M&M's

Does CostCo have gift cards?
If so, it would make supplying a wedding gift very easy.

Did the groom have to show a receipt at the door before heading off for the honeymoon?

You have to use some basic judgement when shopping there to buy things you use a lot of and spoil slowly or not at all.  The size of perishable grocery items are targeted towards a large household, but even as a single you can save money by buying certain things.  I drink enough coffee to buy it there, and they sell individual bottles of wine and handles of booze (where permitted).  Everyone uses TP so as long as you've got a closet with room to stick it in no reason not to save.
