Lol and of course he's openly against concussion safety.

Prediction: Not one NFL owner, not Roger Goodell will say one word about what he said about Kaep or other NFL players. Not. A. One.
- Jemele Hill (@jemelehill)

Jemele made one mistake on this prediction. Trump farked with profit this time. It isn't as easy to turn a blind eye when dollars are involved...

My current theory is that he's been nursing a grudge for 30+ years against the NFL for not absorbing the (miserable) USFL teams into the NFL & now he's got 'his big chance' to strike back at them....

/honestly, at this point I really wouldn't be surprised if that was the case....sigh

Trump added that if fans would "leave the stadium" when players kneel in protest during the national anthem, "I guarantee, things will stop."

So to protest kneeling, he wants fans to turn turn backs on the flag and walk away on the anthem?

Trump thinks America = Trump.

Trump might still be bitter after the collapses of the USFL and the XFL.

Judging by the ads that target me every time I show Google an interest in football, the average NFL fan is a gun-toting, god-fearing, truck-fellating wife-beater who likes it better when the stripper cries and wonders why he's not allowed to use the n-word anymore.

The NFL knows this. But they still think Trump's comments were too extreme and disrespectful for their audience.

That's telling.

I'm gonna guess we're about to see A LOT of kneeling tomorrow. Every single player that thought about it but decided not to has solid motivation to flip the metaphorical bird at Trump and not stand.

What the NFL knows is that the lackwits "boycotting the NLF!!!!12" are all angry old people who are going to die soon anyway. If this was happening in the 18-34 demo, I suspect we'd see a different response.

Nothing, of course, because Mr. Trump knows what he is doing.  Goddamn, he owned Steven Curry.

Don't forget, libtards, Trump has forgotten more about sports than you'll ever know. Haven't you heard? He was the best baseball player in New York in the mid-60s!

I played football and baseball, sorry, but said to be the best bball player in N.Y. State-ask coach Ted Dobias-said best he ever coached.

- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 3, 2013

Yeah, sorry is right! Sorry you foolishly took the side of mere dabblers in sport like Curry and LeBron and Kaepernick and Hill!

And that was with the debilitating bone spurs that tragically kept him out of 'Nam just a few years later. Boy, it's sad how you libtards just can't appreciate the raw athleticism that is Donald J. Trump.

That's a big myth that the average NFL fan is some beer gut redneck right winger. Are they the most vocal on radio shows? Definitely , but the NFL has a fairly diverse fan base, and with the Raiders playing in Mexico City and the Jaguars playing in London, the NFL is trying to go international. Besides it's one thing to be cool and distant regarding Kaepernick alone. It's another thing to piss off the players at large.
