It's a stretch; not sure if enough people will see it to make it a thing, or if it will go down in flames.

Until the rights go back to Marvel, stop trying to make Fantastic Four a thing.

Are they going for a baker's dozen of remakes of this thing? It's a boring comic anyway.

Now that Deadpool and Logan made a fortune, Fox can afford at least 2 more Fantastic Four movies.

Hopefully they'll continue to make Doctor Doom as terrifying as he has been in the previous films.

Idea: Tom Holland, Nic Cage, Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Jackman.

Yeah, that's right. I want a "New" Fantastic Four movie.

Doctor Doom and Silver Surfer are the prize characters in the FF cinematic realm and would fit quite nicely in the MCU.  They really don't need the FF at this point.

To keep the rights from going back to Marvel, they will keep trying to make Fantastic Four a thing.

It's had its moments, and it gave us concepts that other properties have run with to our vast enjoyment. The Incredibles for instance was a pretty obvious tribute to the FF (and I still consider it the best FF movie made to date [in fact, I'd say that that should be the benchmark for any director who has a vision for a new FF movie: "Will it be better than, and do better in the box office and in home video and streaming than, The Incredibles?" If not, don't bother)..

While The Venture Brothers is more a pastiche of Johnny Quest, it does feature an obvious FF parody. And fans generally agree that Rick & Morty's "Council of Ricks" was a good episode in itself and led to great things in this latest season, and that's very obviously a satirical parody of the "Council of Reeds" from a few years before R&M.

FF is the family sitcom of the Marvel Franchise - it's far better off as an animated TV series and not a live action movie.

My mom has a very dry and sardonic sense of humor, thank you. And there's only three people with somewhat lame powers. Dr. Doom is cool but he's joined the Lex Luthor club of cool villains they simply refuse to get right on the live action big screen. And Hackman and Spacey are actually good actors who have both played convincing villains.

How about another origin story?  I think that's where the other films went wrong, is they didn't show us enough of the origin of the team.  They should probably do one where they show us how they got their powers.  Except, instead of Johnny and Sue being brother and sister, they should make Ben and Sue cousins, and Reed should be trans and hispanic, and Johnny will be an introverted gamer goth. Yeah! And they should do Dr. Doom again, but they should make his powers more like Wolverine cause everyone likes Wolverine and nobody really knows what Dr. Dooms powers are anyway.  But like Wolverine with like, energy beams or something. And maybe instead of the thing being stuck as a rock monster, he'll be a fish made of metal.

Just make a standalone Dr. Doom movie.  But it needs to be campy and over the top, and Doom needs to be ruler of his own country, because that's who Dr Doom is peasants!

Someone should get pegged, too. Like in Deadpool.

I'd personally love it if Doom showed up in Black Panther, but I'm not a studio exec.

Since it "is" making a profit.  Hollywood logic is applied: If it makes a profit, keep doing it.

\How many reboots does a movie/franchise get before they stop trying to make a movie?
\\If comic cinematic universes would be smart, have no origin stories.  Tell the audience to read the comics.  That would increase sales of your declining print market.

Let Edgar Wright take a stab at it.
He didn't get to finish out Ant-Man, but yet his contributions had to have improved it.

I say they should let Wes Anderson take a shot at it.  I mean, he couldn't make a worse FF movie than has already been made, and it might end up being entertaining.

I'd watch that, but I'm one of the 5 people in the world who liked the Darjeeling limited, so I may be biased

He's directed 5 movies. Each one is better than anything from Marvel. And I'm betting his 6th will also fit that trend.

Layer Cake, Kick Ass, XMFC, Kingsmen, and the other one I forget despite just looking at his IMDB profile were indeed all very entertaining flicks; but there's an argument that can be made that CA:TWS was better than them all, imho.
