Bush, however, cautioned U.S. allies to pay more attention to the administration's moves and less to what Trump says and tweets.

Thanks, JEB!, but most of us have already figured that out.

Fortunately he's at best half right.

AT SOME POINT, Jeb?  AT SOME POINT?

How about NOW?

Better yet, why not convince him to resign before the damage he does is irreversible?

The evangelicals are in charge now.

Nothing matters now except magic.

Maybe your GOP friends can nut the fark up and impeach this guy?

Bush said, as reported by McClatchy. "Because at the end of the day, too much chaos, and being unreliable, creates real dangers."

Dangers for who?

Because if you can't explain to Trump how something he does will come back to bite him, personally, on the ass within the next half hour, then you shouldn't even waste your time trying.

Apparently there's an acceptable length of time that can pass before a president produces a coherent agenda.

You mean calling Iran evil distributors of terror and threatening to blow NK off the planet doesn't count?

Coherent = Covfefe is as good as it's going to get with Trump.

One of the painful lessons the GOP is learning is that when you cultivate reactionary voters, you can't rely on them. They have thirty million certified assholes in their corner, and that base is JUST SO ANGRY...except that that anger turns on a dime. There's a distinctive whiff of desperation about the current Obamacare repeal push (#6,837) where they're basically begging each other, "Please let us advance a piece of legislation to the President's desk so we can go home and campaign without being screamed at by our own base."

That's a Haw Haw! if I ever seen one.

I was thinking about Trump's comment that the Iran Deal is the worst deal in the history of deals or some such nonsense.  What, specifically, does he not like about the deal? I hear him complain about it a lot, but I never hear him say what's bad about it.

Of course not. He doesn't farking know what's in the deal. That would require him to read. All Trump knows is, "Iran bad!"

Just doing what every GOP president does: whoring out to Israel.

Obama made it.

Next, he's changing the name of Denali to Mt. McKinley.

"I think President Trump, with his foreign policy team intact, is moving in that direction," he added. "I may be wrong, his impulses contradict that from time to time, but I can tell all the people analyzing the tweets ... I would follow more what we're doing rather than what he says."

Subtle yet adequate burn...

Trump also said he inherited the worst Presidency in history without giving an example why but also bragging about how great the economy is even though he hasn't signed a piece of economic legislature and is still riding Obama's coattails.

What a laugh riot. A Bush, of all people, lecturing about foreign policy. For the past 16 years we've been stuck in infinite and unwinnable war because of his dear old Dad and his nimrod brother. Why can't the Shrub clan just go ahead and disappear from politics already, they're a family of abject failures.

I'm pretty sure we past that point a while back.
