Marcus Mariota or Dak Prescott?

knbber2: Marcus Mariota or Dak Prescott?

Dak, I don't trust the Titans, and the Jags D looked decent (true, it was the Texans, but still).

Here's my quandary, pick 2:

Kerwyn Williams v. Colts
Jonathan Stewart v. Bills
Alvin Kamara v. Pats

/had to replace Johnson, stupid first pick.

Stewart in my book

16 team PPR

Already starting Fitzgerald so need 2 of these 3
Crowder @ Rams
JJ Nelson @ Colts
Desean Jackson vs Bears

Flex Q: Garcon or Gilleslee? It's not a PPR, or Garcon would be a no brainer.

I'd pick Williams and Stewart. The cards are going to run at will on the Colts, so the only thing you have to worry about is williams getting vultured by the 34yo RBs in the committee

Cousins has seemed very, very off with his Wars, so I'd avoid Crowder.

QB flex league, PPR

Eli Manning or Ty Montgomery?

2017-09-17 11:12:30 AM
Matty Ice vs the Packers, or Derek Carr vs the JEST?

Nelson and Jax

dugitman: I'd pick Williams and Stewart.

The only reason I'm thinking Kamara is the Pats D looked awful last week, while the Bills D looked solid.

Definitely Nelson and Desean. Nelson isn't great, but Palmer has no one else to throw to, so he'll be good for ppr.

LucklessWonder: Flex Q: Garcon or Gilleslee? It's not a PPR, or Garcon would be a no brainer.

Gilleslee all day. Pissed off Brady and Bill with three other targets out and a terrible Saints D.

I'd go for Ryan.

Incorrigible Astronaut: UNC_Samurai: Matty Ice vs the Packers, or Derek Carr vs the JEST?

Carr

That was my inclination, but ESPN gave Ryan a slightly higher projection.  I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious.  Thanks.

UNC_Samurai: Matty Ice vs the Packers, or Derek Carr vs the JEST?

Carr, I have no idea what ESPN is smoking.

Carr or Roethlisberger?

My only concern with Nelson is having him and Fitz both in there. The Colts are terrible and may be down 4 scores by halftime. Hate to lose 2 slots of scoring if they cart Johnson and Ellington out in their wheelchairs to run the clock down for the second half. Still, I'll go with DJax and Nelson. Nelson looked good last week and Crowder looked surprisingly awful

ArthurPutey: Carr or Roethlisberger?

The only thing you have to worry about with Carr is a blowout where they hand the ball off to run the clock.

Carr, although I miiiiiiiight lean Ben if Bradford is out.

Carr

Don't ask me, I went 0-4 last week. I thnks mebbe I over valued Brees....he laid a big turd on me.

Granted, they've only played one week, but the Jets defense is 25th in yards allowed, tied for 25th in rushing yards per attempt, 22nd in opposing 3rd down conversion, and tied for 22nd in turnover ratio.

The Jets defense couldn't play dead in a cowboy movie.

Less than 12 hours ago, I turned down the offer of Terrance West for my guy, Stefon Diggs.  I was fine with that.  Then I saw that Sam Bradford was (probably) hurt.  I'm weak at RB.  How screwed am I?

Rogers or Carr?

2017-09-17 11:39:19 AM
Flex spot in a non ppr league...?

Blount
T Gabriel
S Watkins

Tentatively going with Blount.

Always Rogers unless bye or injured.

The answer is always Rogers regardless of opponent or other QB matchups. Man that team is loaded with receivers

Sam Bradford is out....poor Vikings.  Case Keenum is starting for them.

/Will be watching the Steelers game

In case no one mentioned it-- always start Rodgers

Thanks everyone. I played Big Ben vs. the Browns last week and lost.

After AJ Green had another turd-like performance on Thursday night, I'm going to avoid playing players for Thursday games other than kickers or DSTs. Also I'm going to play match-ups since AJ has been shiatty so far.

/don't know what the hell happened to Dalton to suddenly turn him into the next Jake

My question:

Big Ben or Matt Stafford?

Right now, staying with Big Ben but I could see the Lions/Giants game becoming a higher scoring game than the Steelers/Vikings...especially now that Case Keenum is the QB for the Vikings...don't see the game being that high scoring...

2017-09-17 11:52:04 AM

knbber2: Marcus Mariota or Dak Prescott?

Mariotta. Denver has enough pass rush and secondary to make Dallas use its run game all night long

UNC_Samurai: Matty Ice vs the Packers, or Derek Carr vs the JEST?

Carr. Packers at least almost have a defense. Jets, not so much.

2017-09-17 11:55:06 AM

undercurrent: Rogers or Carr?

There is no bad choice here. Id lean towards Carr because its the Jets. Atlanta had no defense to speak of against the Bears last week of course but I think they will improve. Jets will Jet.

Wr/flex, pick 1 to sit: Dez, Hogan, DeSean, Cobb. Leaning Hogan but not 100% sure.

I was briefly thinking of starting Bortles over Stafford because the Giants eat Stafford up for some reason. Then I remembered it was Blake Bortles I was considering and took an Aspirin in case I was having a stroke.
Big Ben is what I'm saying

I think Hogan may have a good week, but the choice is between him and DJax. Not sure why you're considering Dez or Cobb

Honestly, just making sure there's not something I'm missing (injury, bad matchup, etc.).

PPR RB to compliment DeVonte Freeman:

Teven Coleman vs. GB
Kerwynn Williams vs, IND
Charcandrick West vs. PHI

or I could jettison one and pick up Mike Tolbert vs. CAR

I'll hang up and listen. Thanks!

Dez IS playing Denver, but I don't think you can ever sit the #1 in an offense like that one regardless of matchup. I'm in a 14 and 16 team league though so YMMV
